Join Labcorp’s 2026 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation! We’re looking for motivated students to be part of a dynamic 12-week paid internship where you’ll work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives.

Internship 2026 Dates: May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026 About the Program

As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. In addition to your project work, you’ll gain valuable exposure to Labcorp’s global business, culture, and leadership through:

Internship Details
  • Duration: 12 weeks, full-time

  • Dates of Internship: May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026

  • Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates

  • Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2026 through June 2028 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

About the Team

The IT PMO department provides project management leadership and support for the execution of key initiatives across the organization by ensuring appropriate scope, schedule, and financial management control. 

Internship Assignment Summary
  • Assist in the management of IT related projects; entire project lifecycle from sizing and scoping project to implementation, closure and handoff to support, ensuring successful project completion and customer satisfaction. 

  • May function as Scrum Master for one or more workstreams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments for team, and managing dependencies with other teams.

  • Builds project plans, including necessary deliverables and schedules. 

  • Assist in the facilitation of project scoping, ensuring that issues are raised, necessary input is obtained and project work is outlined. 

  • Assist in management of project dependencies to ensure schedule execution.

  • Assist in risk management and appropriate mitigation strategies for projects.

  • Leads meetings and facilitates effective communications to drive decisions and action items. 

  • Provides regular reports and project status updates to management, stakeholders and others.

  • Utilizes appropriate metrics to help understand health of team and deliverables for the projects are met.

Education/Qualifications/Skills
  • Working towards bachelor’s degree in informatics

  • Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting

  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues.

  • Embraces diverse perspectives through partnerships and teamwork

  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
