Position summary

 

Regulatory, Quality & Compliance (RQC) practice helps organizations solve complex regulatory, quality, and operational challenges. We partner with clients across life sciences, insurance, and other highly regulated industries to improve compliance, optimize processes, implement technology solutions, and drive innovation through data, automation, and emerging AI capabilities. 

We are building a next-generation consulting model that combines domain expertise, data, AI, and intelligent workflows to improve decision-making, accelerate delivery, and create scalable client solutions. 

We are seeking highly motivated Data Science, Computer Science, AI, or Analytics students who want hands-on experience designing and implementing real-world AI use cases. Intern will work directly with consulting, operations, and innovation leaders to develop intelligent solutions that leverage Microsoft Copilot, Claude, agentic workflows, automation platforms, and enterprise data. 

 

What will you do in this role?

As an AI Solutions Intern, you will help identify, prototype, and build practical AI-enabled solutions across RQC. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Designing and building AI agents, multi-agent workflows, intelligent assistants, and automations using Microsoft Power Automate and related workflow platforms. 
  • Developing proof-of-concepts using Microsoft Copilot, Claude, LLMs, and emerging AI technologies. 
  • Creating integrations between enterprise systems, knowledge repositories, and AI tools. 
  • Developing prompt frameworks, reusable agent patterns, and workflow accelerators. 
  • Supporting the creation of an Intelligent Workbench that enables consultants to access knowledge, automate tasks, and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Evaluating AI solutions for governance, security, compliance, trustworthiness, and business value. 
  • Collaborating with consultants and practice leaders to translate business challenges into AI-enabled solutions.  
  • Documenting findings, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps.  


What do you need to succeed in this role?

Required Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in:  
  • Data Science 
  • Computer Science 
  • Artificial Intelligence 
  • Analytics 
  • Machine Learning 
  • Software Engineering 
  • Related technical field 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Experience building software projects through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects. 
  • Familiarity with Python and data analysis techniques. 
  • Experience using GitHub and collaborative development workflows. 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience building AI agents, copilots, or agentic workflows. 
  • Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering. 
  • Experience with:  
  • Microsoft Copilot 
  • Azure AI Services 
  • Claude 
  • OpenAI APIs 
  • LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks 
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate or workflow automation tools. 
  • Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architecture. 
  • Experience integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise systems. 
  • Exposure to M365, SharePoint, Teams, or enterprise knowledge management platforms. 
  • Familiarity with responsible AI, governance, security, and compliance concepts. 

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the base compensation range for this role is $29-30/hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on several factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Compensation ranges for roles in our Government Services pillar are determined by contract with the specific government agency Sikich is servicing.
