As an Integrations Specialist within the Product Integrations stream, you’ll lead the design, delivery, and optimization of integrations that connect our platform with customers’ systems. You’ll act as the technical bridge between our customers and Engineering teams — operating with autonomy to uncover solutions, solve complex problems, and deliver meaningful outcomes.
Integrations are strategically critical to Criteria’s success, enabling our products to fit seamlessly within our customers’ existing HR technology systems, including applicant tracking systems, HRIS and other talent technologies. Integrations drive adoption, create long-term customer value, and expand our global reach.
This role offers the opportunity to shape how integrations are delivered and scaled across our organization. You’ll influence product direction, build deep technical knowledge, and grow into a trusted expert within a high-impact area of our business.
Responsibilities
Technical Discovery & Design
- Recommend optimal integration approaches aligned with product capabilities and customer needs.
- Review API documentation and design integration workflows that streamline the recruiter workflow.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer systems and integration requirements.
Troubleshooting & Support
- Take ownership of diagnosing and resolving integration issues through log analysis, driving issues to resolution.
- Collaborate with Engineering to resolve bugs or enhance integration capabilities.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
Implementation & Validation
- Configure and test integrations using tools such as Postman.
- Validate API endpoints, payloads, and authentication methods.
- Maintain clear technical documentation for all integrations.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work independently and cross-functionally with other Product streams, Engineering, and Revenue to deliver seamless integrations end-to-end.
- Provide guidance and coaching to Support & Success teams.
- Manage multiple integration projects, ensuring timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
To be successful in this role the incumbent will demonstrate the following:
- 2–4 years’ experience in a technical integration, API, or SaaS implementation role.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, SQL and modern authentication protocols.
- Hands-on experience using Postman (or similar) to test and debug integrations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and translate it into actionable solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
Desirable:
- Experience in the HR Tech / Talent SaaS ecosystem or with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Familiarity with iPaaS platforms (e.g., Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi, or custom middleware).
- Experience working in cross-functional Product or Integrations teams.
- Knowledge of webhooks, event-driven architecture, and API version management.
