Job DescriptionSika is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to join its growing team in the Canton, MA area for our Roofing business.
The ISR is responsible for managing the pipeline of all sales opportunities generated by the Inside Sales team and focuses on outbound prospecting by calling on specifiers, building owners and/or general contractors on specific construction projects as well as generating new account development. The ISR will collaborate closely with the field sales team to help grow sales within their specific territory.
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers through outbound efforts.
- Work closely with architects, consultants and building owners to assess project opportunities and determine appropriate product offering.
- Develop sales opportunities in specified markets and work with field sales counterparts to manage and track projects to conclusion.
- Jointly accountable to exceed specific, quantifiable objectives related to sales from leads developed for the field.
- 3+ years of sales development experience.
- Prior experience in the construction, building materials or roofing industries a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaboration and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of Windows Applications (Microsoft, Word, Excel)
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM technology.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
- Good project management skills.
