Aethir is revolutionizing AI accessibility through our industry-leading GPU cloud solutions. We're seeking a results-oriented Infrastructure Partner Manager to join our growing team. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for establishing and managing strategic partnerships with leading GPU hardware providers, ensuring a consistent and reliable supply of high-performance GPUs for our global customer base.

About the Role:

You'll play a pivotal role in securing the foundation of Aethir's cloud-based and bare-metal AI compute offerings. You'll identify and onboard top-tier GPU providers (mining companies, infrastructure funds and VCs, data centers, bare metal providers, IaaS providers, clouds, etc.), ensuring access to the latest and most powerful GPUs for our Aethir Atmosphere and Aethir Earth platforms. Through collaboration and partnership negotiation, you'll ensure competitive pricing and service level agreements (SLAs) that benefit both Aethir and its customers. Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Strategy & Development:
    • Conduct market research and identify leading GPU providers.
    • Develop a comprehensive partnership strategy to secure alliances with key GPU providers.
    • Analyze provider offerings to ensure alignment with Aethir's technical requirements and customer needs.
    • Build, maintain, and evolve the overall “Partner Program” for infrastructure providers. Full ownership.
  • Partner Onboarding & Management:
    • Develop and execute successful onboarding processes for new GPU cloud provider partners
    • Manage ongoing relationships with partners, fostering open communication and collaboration.
    • Negotiate and finalize contracts with partners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and pricing models.
    • Actively manage partner performance, monitoring SLAs and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Supply Chain Optimization:
    • Work closely with internal teams to forecast GPU demand and secure sufficient capacity from partners.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions to guarantee service availability for Aethir customers
    • Explore strategies for geographically diverse GPU deployments to ensure global service coverage.
  • Technical Expertise & Market Awareness:
    • Maintain a deep understanding of the evolving GPU landscape, staying updated on the latest hardware advancements.
    • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure compatibility between Aethir's platform and partner-provided GPUs.
    • Track market trends and competitor offerings to maintain Aethir's competitive edge in securing GPU resources.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in B2B technology partnership management, preferably within the cloud computing or AI space.
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships with major cloud service providers or hardware providers or data center providers.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to anticipate and address potential supply chain challenges.
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing infrastructure and GPU technology advancements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with partner representatives. We operate in English; if you speak Mandarin, that’s a big bonus as we deal with a lot of mining partners in Asia.
  • Experience working with SLAs and managing service level expectations for cloud-based solutions.
  • Knowledge of the global GPU market and major cloud service providers.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage complex technical partnerships.
  • A passion for innovation and the potential of AI to revolutionize various industries.
