We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Human Resources Manager to build and lead our HR function from the ground up. In this role, you will partner closely with leadership to shape company culture, attract top talent, and develop scalable people processes that support rapid growth. This position requires a proactive, adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. The role will report directly to the CFO.

 

What You’ll do

  • Build and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems from scratch
  • Lead full cycle recruiting to attract and hire top talent
  • Design and manage onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Develop and maintain a strong, positive company culture
  • Handle employee relations, feedback, and conflict resolution
  • Create and maintain performance management and employee development programs
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and equity programs
  • Process domestic semi-monthly and international payroll monthly
  • Support leadership with organizational planning and scaling strategies
  • Oversee HR tools, systems via Resourcing Edge with employee data
  • Events planning as needed
  • Provide employee coaching

 

Qualifications

  • Experience scaling a company or building HR from scratch, 0-1 experience
  • Familiarity with startup compensation structures
  • Experience with modern HR tools (Lever, LinkedIn, Resourcing Edge etc.)
  • Experience working with AI tools
  • 5 plus years of experience
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong recruiting and talent assessment
  • Culture building and employee engagement
  • Decision-making in ambiguous environments
