ROLE OVERVIEW
Provides leadership and expertise for corporate functions in support of LifeStance’s vision, values, business plans and growth objectives. In partnership with corporate and regional leadership, develops and delivers a regional people strategy that ensures the business is designed for sustained high performance; attracts, develops and retains the talent necessary for success today and into the future.
Compensation: $87,500 - $115,000/annually, plus annual bonus potential
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads change management and communication efforts on corporate and regional initiatives by creating awareness, understanding, buy-in, and ownership for change.
Coaches business leadership on salary, bonus, merit and reward recommendations.
Acts as a resource to business leadership regarding compensation and benefit issues.
Advises leadership on goal setting and the performance review process, providing instruction on timelines and processes
Provides guidance to leadership on performance evaluations and effective communication and coaching to employee-owners.
Partners with Talent Acquisition to support recruiting, interviewing, and selection for exempt and non-exempt positions within corporate services
Monitors and analyzes regional turnover and work with leadership to maintain quality employee-owners.
Ensures implementation and compliance of all regional LifeStance positions.
Partners with the Onboarding team to ensure an effective corporate onboarding experience.
Supports performance management process to ensure continuous improvement and the implementation of best practices.
Assesses training needs within corporate services and partners with Learning & Development to recommend and deliver targeted solutions
Partners with regional leadership to develop a culture that is reflective of LifeStance values focused on employee ownership, integrity, customer satisfaction, and community involvement.
Partners with corporate leadership to gain an understanding of employee engagement and implement action plans to drive retention of talent and a culture of high performance.
Works with leadership team to identify effective ways to recognize employees for the outstanding work they do each day.
Designs strategies to improve overall morale and engagement while measuring and assessing progress.
Acts as an advocate of the Company by reinforcing the culture, values and mission.
· Ensures inclusion and an open/equitable work environment for all employees related to programs, policies and procedures.
Actively promotes diversity in staffing.
Oversees employee relations issues and investigations.
Partners with leadership on performance management coaching and issue resolution.
Ensures investigations of unfair treatment/discrimination charges, harassment complaints, wrongful terminations, wage/hour issues and other potential legal matters are resolved and organizational learning is captured.
Monitors and analyzes retention and other HR metrics and develop appropriate action plans to address identified needs.
Ensures implementation and monitors compliance of existing company policies and programs such as postings, orientation, retention, exit interviews, substance abuse testing and revisions to handbooks/manuals and orientation materials.
Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as all Company policies and procedures.
Provides information to leadership in a timely and effective manner.
Assists in the coordination of updates to handbook and procedures manual needed.
Participates in weekly, monthly, and quarterly regional meetings and other communication meetings as needed.
Collaborates with HR Centers of Excellence (Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development) to align enterprise programs with the needs of corporate services employees
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of progressive HR experience including human resources business partner or generalist experience supporting exempt and non-exempt populations
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or above) preferred
Strong project management and implementation skills
Familiar with general office equipment
Proficiency with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, Payroll) and ability to leverage technology and data for decision-making
Experience serving as a trusted advisor and thought partner to business leaders on organizational design, talent planning, employee engagement, and workforce effectiveness preferred.
Experience supporting corporate or functional leadership teams in a multi-site or matrixed environment strongly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and on a team
Ability to dig in and take ownership of responsibilities
Ability to work in fast paced environment and meet critical deadlines
Ability to work independently and maintain open communication with coworkers
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Some flexible regarding peak-time work requirements
A commitment to excellence and the ability to communicate to individuals at all levels and roles
