Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Sr. Talent Experience Manager to join our Talent Management team based in Dania Beach, Florida or Boston, MA. The ideal candidate has experience with creating strategy, planning, leading, and executing initiatives and programs that drive team member engagement in a customer-centric approach. This role supports the business by leveraging feedback and data to assess what engagement strategies are beneficial to Chewy and collaborating with various business partners to implement said strategies. Additionally, this role will play a large part of ensuring continual success of Chewy’s Talent Experience and Engagement program.

What you'll do:

  • Directly manage Engagement and Talent Experience initiatives (both in office and virtual) and the groups of team members that make up the various functions that support the initiative efforts.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for other Engagement programs and initiatives—this includes meetings with program leaders and their respective team members, intake contact for ad-hoc Engagement requests, and execution of company-wide events and activities.
  • Be a true culture champion—continuously assess how best to incorporate Chewy’s Operating Principles into every day practices and business activities.
  • Determine strategy for [email protected] that supports a hybrid work environment, creates community at Chewy and enables team members to connect.
  • Lead all [email protected] efforts, including cyclical events like Return to Office, Chewy’s Birthday, Team Member Appreciation Week, and End of Year Celebration. This includes determining when and how to scale [email protected] initiatives and grow the program as we return to office.
  • Deliver new services and improvements to existing programs in order to better serve Chewy’s Talent Experience needs, while meeting department-wide targets.
  • Partner with HR Business Partner teams and business leaders to solicit team member feedback in order to build proposals for new or revised engagement programs that impact all Chewy team members.
  • Manage all budgetary needs and project expenses for Talent Experience in order to avoid incremental spending and WOW-ing our teams with events and activities that are within budget.
  • Evaluate existing Talent Experience programs and Engagement Initiatives that are happening across single functions and provide proposals that allow for said programs to be implemented with a global approach.
  • Analyze complex and confidential data sets to identify focus areas, draw conclusions, and propose action plan(s) to stakeholders.
  • Perform other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned, at times with minimal notice.

What you'll need:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a fast-paced environment owning various company programs and initiatives
  • Excellent attention to detail is a must; as you will be responsible for arranging and leading company-wide projects, and reporting results to senior business leaders
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong sense of judgement and ability to make effective decisions under ambiguous situations
  • Ability to influence business partners, stakeholders and leaders in an effort to meet deadlines and deliverables
  • Passion for matters that define our Employee Value Proposition and Team Member experience—our Talent Experience team embodies Chewy’s Operating Principles!
  • Willingness to autonomously manage multiple projects, and knowing how to prioritize them effectively
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Position may require travel

Bonus:

  • Experience with process improvement
Experience in event planning or coordination
    Budget management
