The opportunity
We’re growing fast and need the very best Senior People & Culture Manager / Business Partner in our fast-growing Boston location. You will partner with business-critical departments including Sales, Marketing and Customer Success as we continue to rapidly grow across North America
You will partner with senior stakeholders in the GTM team and lead the North American people programmes and initiatives, reporting into the Global People & Talent Director who is based in our UK head office. To be successful you will need to have expertise in business partnering with GTM functions at a technology scaleup and have a passion for developing people, capability and performance, being a culture champion of what a good looks like in a diverse organization. An ability to drive process, compliance and change would also be an advantage.
You will be the first People & Talent person in North America with the responsibility of onboarding ensuring the warm welcome of all new team members, you’ll also be the point person for all queries and managing relationships with our US providers. It’s not for the faint hearted, but we promise it will be exciting and rewarding.

Your main responsibilities:
Reporting into the Global People and Talent Director you will shape a high performance environment by providing excellent HR support and insight to the US business for most operational people activities. Your key day to day duties include:
- Creating a high performance environment through effective performance approaches, partnering with the business
- Consult with the Learning and Development & wider People team to identify knowledge, skill, and capability gaps and integrate development programs to improve internal performance.
- Build out standard process and protocol across teams to ensure project success
- Advising the business on relevant labor law for multiple states from recruitment through to onboarding, compensation, and leave requirements.
- Manage the relationship with our PEO and administration of our HR systems
- Management of the benefits process including working with benefits brokers to define excellent benefits packages for the organisation and it’s employees, managing providers and administering benefits
- Responsibility for a workforce largely located in Boston, MA but with a wider remote sales workforce across North America
- Coming up with initiatives to maintain and improve our employee engagement score (currently 8/10)

- Confident owning and delivering the HR/People leadership agenda at a technology scale up company partnering GTM functions
- Passionate about championing & maintaining a diverse, equal & inclusive culture.
- Ability to support remote multi-state enterprise sales teams with up to date knowledge of labor law incl. California to ensure company-wide HR compliance with federal and state employment and safety laws.
- SHRM-CP or working towards (with an HR related degree)
- Experience of working with and managing a PEO relationship
- Strong sense of ownership and delivery oriented
- Excellent and proactive verbal & written communication skills
- Warm, friendly disposition, A good sense of humour goes a long way!
