Recruiting Coordinator
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join the Talent Acquisition Team based in Boston, MA. You will help with talent acquisition enablement and overall candidate experience by greeting candidates, scheduling interviews, managing background check process, creating offers of employment, among other tasks, while being a partner to the talent acquisition team. To be successful you will have a strong customer service orientation, be detail oriented, and an expert collaborator to ensure team members are enabled to drive candidates through the interview process efficiently and effectively. Your role is one of partnership and empowerment as the owner of all things candidate experience.
What You'll Do:
- Have full autonomy to operate independently as a valued team member of the talent acquisition team to ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the interview process
- Work closely with the recruiting team to assist with scheduling phone and onsite interviews
- Track candidates throughout hiring process in our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse)
- Greet candidates and provide office tours
- File applications and perform background checks on candidates
- Be the point person for candidates and team members for all phone and onsite interviews
- Track goals, metrics, and performance of the enablement process; regularly communicate status and results
- Propose and implement ongoing innovations and improvements to recruitment process
- Participate in recruiting events representing Chewy.com
- Manage job boards and post open requisitions on the Chewy site and others
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Position may require travel
What You'll Need:
- 1-3 years in a similar role where you were responsible for operational processes and high touch ‘customer service’
- Track record of collaboration, problem solving, and juggling of multiple priorities
- Proven ability to multitask effectively and experience working in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong computer skills in MS Office, use of third-party tools and comfort in learning new computer applications quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for and experience in providing outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to travel occasionally to other offices
