Team & Role Overview:

The People Operations team is responsible for managing the various programs and initiatives that support, engage, incentivize, and reward our employees. The People Operations Manager will lead and administer several key programs and initiatives throughout the end-to-end employee life cycle. A highly visible role, the People Operations Manager will bring their expertise in Human Resources best practices to an early-stage and rapidly growing organization with ample opportunity to build, develop, and scale a number of policies, procedures, and programs. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration of all Wellframe health & wellness benefits
  • In partnership with external counsel, advise managers and leadership on matters pertaining to employment law and risk
  • Develop and lead new hire orientation and on-boarding programs, as well as ongoing training & development initiatives
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives
  • Maintain internal communication tools and messaging of all people-related topics, announcements, and policy updates
  • Manage employee LOA, including maternity/paternity leave, disability, FMLA
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, including completion of mandatory reporting
  • Coordinate all employee moves, including role and manager changes, promotions, etc.
  • Coordinate off-boarding process, including exit interview, paperwork, equipment collection, etc.
  • Maintain and report out on people analytics statistics and trends
  • Develop strategies to further expand the use of current and new technologies in support of end to end HR solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR/People Ops role
  • Comprehensive benefits administration experience
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail with strong analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Experience in a fast-paced, rapidly growing start-up or early-stage company is a plus
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating in sometimes ambiguous environments
  • Strong EQ, humble, and team-centric
