We’re looking for a pro-active, empathetic, and highly organised People Coordinator to ensure everyone at Snyk in the US and Canada has what they need to be happy and fulfilled at work.

About Snyk!  We believe open source software is a force for good: our mission is to help developers to use open source and stay secure.  We build tools that integrate seamlessly into the developer workflow, enabling everyone to find, fix and monitor vulnerabilities in their open source dependencies.

We’re growing fast: we’ve recently raised a $22m Series B with some exciting investors; more than 160,000 developers use our product to stay secure; in the last year alone we’ve signed up some top brand customers including Google, ASOS, and New Relic. In 2019, we’ll more than double the size of our team, both in North America and globally, and we need you to help make this happen.

Your role

You’ll have a varied range of responsibilities, and your role will evolve as we grow. You will be based in our Boston office, and will support our small Santa Clara office, our growing presence in Ottawa, as well as our US-based remote workers.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring we have the space and resources we need to expand; contributing to processes and best practises to help us scale well, and coordinating the implementation of these processes; championing and preserving our company culture and values; nurturing our inclusive environment that values diversity.

To start with, you’ll spend your time:

  • Being the first point of contact for all people related matters in the US & Canada
  • Making sure our offices are well-equipped and set up to help people to feel comfortable and productive
  • Managing supplier relationships and all purchasing both for the offices and for our remote workers
  • Welcoming visitors and interview candidates to the Boston office
  • Organising team-building events for the local team, and supporting travel arrangements for visiting team members
  • Developing and updating local HR policies and processes in collaboration with our Global Employee Relations Lead, to make sure they fit both Snyk best practice and local statutory requirements
  • HR administration: supporting document creation and for the entire employee lifecycle (including right-to-work checks for new starters, contracts, parental leave, salary reviews, reference requests)
  • Owning our payroll and benefits administration
  • Working closely with our Onboarding Manager to coordinate company induction for local new joiners
  • Project managing any office moves and expansions.

You’ll join our global People Operations team, reporting to our London-based VP People and working particularly closely with our Tel Aviv-based Employee Relations & HR Manager, as well as your counterpart in the UK.

Snyk is very remote-friendly for almost all of our roles, and we also have office hubs in Boston, London, Tel Aviv, NYC, and Denver!
