Learning & Performance Consultant - Remote

The successful candidate for this position will join a strong team of learning and talent professionals. You'll use both strategic thinking and performance consultation to understand performance gaps and recommend appropriate interventions. Solutions can take the form of facilitated sessions, classroom or online courses, and/or a variety of self-directed experiences. You'll support the Change Management practice by providing training and consultation on the ADKAR methodology.
The Team
The team brings diverse perspectives and experiences, and we are expected to bring both internal and external best practices to the table. We produce unique experiences by synthesizing concepts from areas such as learning, design, visual arts, digital communication, and music to implement creative and engaging content. Areas of focus within our team are virtual and online content development, content curation, facilitation, and change management. While each team member has responsibility for particular areas of expertise, we work collaboratively and cross-train frequently. We welcome feedback and share it freely. Leadership flows between different members of the team, based on the task at hand. We truly like each other and try to have fun with all that we do.

Bring thought leadership, innovation and strategic thinking to your work as you consult with Human Resources Business Partners and Talent Leads to identify development needs within their respective business units
Utilize instructional design techniques and adult learning theory to create (or procure) instructional content using a variety of media such as instructor-led, facilitated, web-based, virtual, or self-directed content
Effectively project manage learning initiatives with high quality outcomes, ensuring the involvement of appropriate partners and completion on time and budget
Support the Change Management practice through trainer certification in the Prosci ADKAR model and conducting training programs, providing change management support to selected projects, and partnering in the leadership of the Community of Practice
Build and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships with Human Resources team members, managers and vendor partners.
Leverage data analytics to support decisions and prioritize work
The Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years in a training, instructional design, and/or content development role, or similar, with a proven record of accomplishment in delivering effective and innovative learning solutions
Proficiency with learning tools (i.e. Articulate 360 or Camtasia)
A true team player who is interested in building on the ideas of others, supporting the team, and having fun
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven and effective presentation /facilitation skills
Strong consultative abilities coupled with demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills
Driven to plan and exceed goals and project milestones proactively, without compromising work quality
Maintain a big picture perspective and engage the right people within the broader community of stakeholders in activities as appropriate
Pursue new, creative or unconventional approaches to problem solving
Maintain external visibility to development and trends in the Talent and L&D fields; engage in external networks and access external expertise where necessary to be able to provide support and advice to the Talent and Learning teams, the broader HR community and the business groups
The Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or certification in adult education, online learning, design, or related areas
Experience with LMS and LXP platforms (Workday Learn and Degreed preferred)
Change management certification or experience using the Prosci ADKAR model
Visual Design and/or communication experience
Instructor certification for any of the following: Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, True Colors, Crucial Conversations, Influencer, or Emergenetics
