POSITION SUMMARY
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for supporting the company’s HR technology including system maintenance, project/process improvements and report writing including payroll, compensation and benefit data. The primary focus of this role is to continue to develop and refine our human resources software. This position is hands-on and requires strong knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems. The Analyst will serve as a technical point of contact and the subject matter expert ensuring operational effectiveness, data integrity, testing of system changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all HRIS data. Perform group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and troubleshoot any data discrepancies.
- Manage interfaces in and out of HR systems.
- Support ongoing HRIS upgrades, testing, enhancements, and other technical projects as assigned.
- Prepares training materials, guides, and documentation.
- Proactively recommends process improvements/solutions utilizing technology to solve business needs/problems while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of systems and capabilities
- Analyzes data and designs and develops both standard and complex reports to support HR and business needs.
- Develops and maintains reports for HR using various database and reporting tools.
- Conducts and coordinates audits on HR information systems. Ensures that corrections are made and recommends process and policy changes.
- Provides technical support to the functional areas (e.g. Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition) regarding systems requirements and systems implementation.
- Sets up and maintains security profiles; develops security profiles to meet the needs of the functions and division of responsibilities.
- With directions from HR Management Team, sets up, updates and maintains tables of codes (e.g. job codes, benefits codes, organization codes) while providing inputs on the capabilities of the system and the implications of changes in system codes on data and reporting.
- Resolves data issues within the various HR systems.
- Provides training and support to users and works with vendors to trouble shoot and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements to meet changing needs of the business.
- Participates in HR technology initiatives. Develops requirements and works with vendors and users to design and implement programs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
EDUCTION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 - 4 years of experience as an analyst or administrator responsible for configuration, testing, and application support
- Experience interpreting data and presenting information and findings
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software with strong Excel skills with PowerQuery and PowerPivot
- Ability to perform diagnostic, identify problems and provide solutions
- Superior analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and innovative skills
- Excellent working knowledge of HR systems, data structure and report generation
- Ability to prioritize work under time constraints to meet project deadlines
- Understanding of ADP EV5, Virtual Edge, ADP Reporting and HTML, Time and Attendance (Kronos)
- Excellent reporting skills using related database reporting tools
