THE ROLE: Human Resources Generalist

You will serve as an HR anchor, the first point of contact, serving Associates across our corporate offices as well as those working remotely, with a broad range of HR disciplines – onboarding, benefits, employee relations as well as corporate-wide HR programs and initiatives.

You’ll build trusting partnerships with both early career associates and the leadership teams across many different business units - technology, merchandising, marketing to name a few.  While most of your time will be spent in execution mode, you will have many opportunities to contribute to our People strategy as well.

The People Team has a “get it done” team attitude that enables each of us to tap into our entrepreneurial spirit to fuel our amazing growth.  We change every day, so you’ll need to successfully operate in the “gray”.  If you need to operate within tight restrictions and burdensome processes, this is not a role for you.  We’re a People team that likes to fend off bureaucracy and keep things simple!

What You’ll Do:

Your core responsibility will be serving as the eyes and ears on the ground to participate in HR departmental strategy sessions, bringing creative and innovative ideas to the table surrounding HR process optimization, HR services, retention, and employee programs. On a day-to-day, this translates to:

• Administrative:
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and manage exit interviews.
  • Administer immigration and visa renewals for newly hired and existing employee populations across the RGG organization nationwide.

• Employee Engagement:
  • Stay connected to the pulse of the org and help guide HR leaders and business partners to align HR programs with the needs of the team.
  • Drive a strong “local” corporate culture through various activities and events, as well as day-to-day support of Company values

• You’re a relationship builder, connecting easily with team members regardless of level or where they primarily sit.
• Maybe you have a Bachelor’s degree, maybe you don’t, but you have served in an HR capacity where you have learned HR fundamentals around employment law, employee engagement, performance management, general business acumen… and are eager to expand your HR knowledge base and learn from a strong team of HR practitioners.
