THE ROLE

We’re looking for a leader of People Operations whose main objective is to leverage the strong culture we have to develop the human capital strategy and build mechanisms that will develop and grow talent, abiding by the leadership principles that are core to our existence. This role will bring additional leadership bench strength to the organization as it enters a new phase of growth and transformation.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in human resources leadership and transformation at growth companies, but more importantly brings an innate curiosity and a modern approach to the challenges of an organization that is growing at a high-speed. Someone who looks for creative ways to reinvent and improve while guiding teams across the organization within a cultural framework that rewards excellence, speed of execution and imagination through periods of substantial change.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will get to work with the various business units to develop and implement the Talent management strategy, measure and track the impact and progress of your plan with a concrete dashboard of metrics.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Partner with the business units to successfully roll-out the performance management program 
  • Build the Leadership & Development plan
  • Build the roadmap for Talent Management with clear objectives, establishing metrics for measuring success.
  • Grow the HR team and expand its capabilities
  • Manage HR operations in various countries.
  • Champion, embody, and evangelize Hopper company values:
  • Recommend and establish Hopper practices that foster a positive workplace culture, employer brand, and enables all employees to contribute to the results of the organization.
  • Work in alignment with all internal teams to enable their success.

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

  • A relevant academic degree (i.e. Business, Organizational Psychology, Change Management) with an HR certification(s) would be advantageous
  • 5 + years of related work experience in a fast-paced, growth organization, across multiple HR disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling people and talent strategy, culture, and processes while overseeing day-to-day operations.
  • Ability to translate the business needs as they constantly evolve into enabling HR initiatives that contribute tangible value and positive change.
  • Experience evaluating business problems rapidly and making informed business decisions without delay.
  • People leadership experience with proven experience effectively leading transformational change.
  • High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence with confidence at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to deliver within a fast paced, continuously evolving environment.
