Head of Employment Branding

Role:
The Employment Branding & Recruitment Marketing leader will build strategy and roadmap for attracting top talent to MassMutual across all levels by building and managing an innovative marketing strategy, campaigns and events including all go to market social and digital touch points.
- Refresh MassMutual Employee Value Proposition ( EVP)
- Partner with internal stakeholders and HR leadership to articulate, sharpen, and communicate our EVP
- Activate refreshed EVP as a new Employer Brand and narrative that is inspirational, differentiated, ambitious and resonates across different candidate segments using traditional, social, digital channels leveraging our CRM, ATS & career site
- Partner with key internal stakeholders to build and manage recruitment marketing strategy to support segmentation efforts across priority target groups in key functions and candidate segments
- Create unique, scalable marketing tools and assets that will improve sourcer and recruiter efficiency and enable more effective targeting and conversion of passive candidates
- Uncover insights that help optimize candidate communication and the digital content strategy by using candidate research and performance metrics
- Work closely with brand, marketing, communication, CSR and other internal teams to bring employee stories to life for external candidates
- Serve as a thought leader and educator across, Talent Acquisition, HR & businesses
- Develop and implement media test plans to increase learning, optimize performance and maximize marketing investments
- Build a comprehensive candidate growth strategy to attract top talent though advertising, events, email, CRM nurturing, social media and towards building sourcing and pipelining funnel
- Partner with Talent Acquisition colleagues to help design and optimize job seekers’ experience with MassMutual from start to finish, including key digital and physical touchpoints
- Participate in Talent Acquisition initiatives and manage special projects
Experience :
This role requires experience developing and implementing an employee value proposition, activating employment brand, building a comprehensive digital, social strategy and playbook and developing an effective governance model.
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communication, digital media or related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of professional experience in Marketing, Brand, Social Media required
- 3+ years of experience in a Talent or HR role would be preferred
- Managing external partners and agencies to ensure marketing campaigns are executed optimally
- Proven experience and performance in digital strategies to target, engage, and acquire diverse audiences
- Experience building and managing social media compliance standards
- Project management experience including creative, development, budgeting, and agency management
- Experience with SEO, SEM, online and offline advertising and persona based marketing
- Experience managing strategy & execution for diversity events and media campaigns and participation in best of lists
- Networked in the digital ad and social space with ability to keep up on trends and leverage new innovation
