You will be working closely with our HX Operations Team within the Global HX Workhuman team, experiencing, and observing what a culture built on gratitude and continuous performance development is all about. Main duties and responsibilities:
- Support HR onboarding/Benefits enrollment
- Support general benefits administration support including COBRA administration, answering employee inquiries, tuition reimbursement requests and ad hoc reporting requests
- Support annual Benefits Open Enrollment including managing the project plan and post-Open Enrollment tasks
- Administer Canada benefits and new hire onboarding
- Assist in Benefits education efforts such as company-wide emails, marketing campaigns and Open Enrollment communications.
- Independently manage complex employee questions/issues related to Benefits
- Support ad hoc reporting requests in HRIS (Workday)
- Manage leave of absence administration processing paperwork, FMLA administration, coordinating Return to Work, tracking leaves and eligibility etc.
- Work cross-functionally with other HX departments and assist in the development, improvement, and documentation of internal HR processes
- Support Benefits projects such as Open Enrollment, 1095 ACA reporting, audits, new state Paid Family Leave laws, implementing new benefits and perks etc.
- Support yearly benefits compliance tasks such as FSA reporting, PCORI fee, FSA non-discrimination testing
Required skills and experience:
- 3-4 years of HR corporate related experience preferred
- More than 2 years of Benefits administration experience required
- Experience supporting Open Enrollment and managing file integrations to benefit vendors
- Bachelor's degree or certification in related field preferred
- Experience with an HRIS system preferred (Workday is ideal)
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills
- Intellectual curiosity
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal. Comfortable presenting weekly HX/Benefits onboarding to new hires.
- High interpersonal skills with the ability to create trusting and engaging relationships
- Team player with open-minded attitude, willing to help where needed and dive into various projects
- Positive and enthusiastic about creating exceptional employee experiences for all
