In this role, you’ll support onboarding, employee administration, and HR operations across the company. You’ll work directly with the COO and help ensure every new hire gets the tools, system access, and support they need to be productive.What You’ll Do
- Support and improve the full onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, background checks, and welcome materials.
- Coordinate new-hire training, first-week schedules, and team introductions.
- Ensure new employees receive timely access to the right systems, tools, and permissions by working with IT, Security, and team leads.
- Keep employee information accurate and up to date in our HR systems, ensuring records are complete and compliant.
- Assist with benefits enrollment, expense approvals, and payroll preparation.
- Maintain company policies, HR documentation, and process guides with clarity and organization.
- Help support internal communication, employee training sessions, and company events.
- Assist with compliance tasks including I-9s, state registrations, and required employee documentation.
- Look for opportunities to improve HR processes and make onboarding more efficient and consistent.
- Use AI tools to help create onboarding content, training materials, checklists, and documentation.
- Use AI to streamline HR tasks like summarizing feedback, organizing data, or preparing reports.
- Support the People function in testing AI-powered tools that make HR operations run more smoothly.
- Have 1–3 years of experience in HR operations, people coordination, administration, or a similar role.
- Are organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong follow-through.
- Communicate clearly and enjoy supporting and helping others.
- Can handle confidential information responsibly and professionally.
- Are comfortable collaborating with IT and functional leads to manage account setup and systems access.
- Enjoy building structure, improving processes, and keeping things running smoothly.
- Are comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment and open to learning new tools and systems.
- A smooth, consistent onboarding experience that helps new hires feel welcomed and productive.
- System access and equipment provisioning always completed accurately and on time.
- Accurate, well-organized employee records and documentation.
- HR processes that improve over time thanks to your attention to detail and problem-solving.
