We are seeking a Vice President to join our Home Office Services team. This pivotal role involves managing high-level client relationships. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, providing top-tier, white-glove service and driving client success across all transaction phases. This individual will work cross-functionally with multiple CAIS teams to streamline and improve existing processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to directly impact client relationships and contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic firm in the alternative investment space. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop deep expertise in the CAIS platform and investment products to effectively support and guide clients
  • Ensure successful outcomes for top-tier clients by promptly addressing requests, answering questions, and managing the transaction process (e.g., subscription documents, transfers, capital calls, AML/KYC, redemptions, fund closings)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-priority client requests, ensuring adherence to service-level expectations
  • Collaborate with Home Office on trade processing, timely remediation, and platform functionality troubleshooting
  • Serve as the primary expert on trailer payments, placement fees, and sales loads, with deep understanding of associated fund and custodian processes specific to alternative investments
  • Monitor funding/NIGO/IGO statuses and assist clients in meeting critical deadlines
  • Lead tactical updates such as activating new funds, resolving functionality issues, and updating user permissions
  • Partner with Home Office to identify and implement process improvements, including API adoption
  • Support the rollout of platform enhancements, ensuring effective training and integration
  • Manage Fund-related communications, coordinating with Home Office for consistency
  • Work with internal teams (Business Development, Marketing, Investments, Operations, Product, Technology) to enhance service delivery and platform functionality
  • Conduct platform demonstrations and highlight new features for clients
  • Document client interactions, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders
  • Act as a subject matter expert for new client onboarding and Client Service capabilities
  • Develop automated workflows to enhance the client experience
  • Take on additional responsibilities based on capacity, skill, and interest 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of client service, product management, or investment operations experience at a fund or financial services firm
  • FINRA Registrations Series 7, 63 required
  • Experience in alternative investments required
  • Strong client service orientation with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM programs
  • Exemplary oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $145,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
