Who You Are 

TetraScience is hiring an elite Sciborg leader to oversee the US region. All Scientific Business Analysts and Scientific Data Architects will report to you. You will collaborate with your counterparts to drive successful delivery of value for all EMEA implementations, ensure renewals, and assist in expansions. 

As we rapidly evolve our platform and open up new value creation paths with new SKUs and new personas, we require an uncompromising and results-driven engagement leader to help us deliver scientific and operational value as well as expand within our customer base. 

You are a customer centric and see-around-the-corner individual with a passion for delivering value while navigating customer hierarchy within the high-inertia Life Sciences industry.

You will need to fundamentally embody the principles of extreme ownership and have a demonstrated history of building and leading high-performing delivery or engagement teams. 

You will have demonstrable experience in managing the critical activities of your teams and proof of consistently delivering complex data solutions in challenging scenarios. You are a player-coach and not a spectator. You will be a forward-deployed captain.

For the avoidance of doubt, we remain in the category creation and evangelism phase and thus you are not coming in to be a siloed people manager. It will require extreme self-discipline and determination as we forge a category that will fundamentally and forever change the life sciences industry.

What You Will Do 
  • Lead a team of Scientific Business Analysts and Scientific Data Architects
  • Establish TetraScience as the Scientific Data and AI thought leader with the Life Science customers
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive scientific delivery motion to drive faster time-to-value with high customer satisfaction and meet annual renewal targets.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership and Account Executives to pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Work closely with product teams to drive scientific business outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies, positioning TetraScience as a
    thought leader in the markets
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention while expanding your network within the accounts
  • Lead by example and coach your team to develop in their careers and inspire your team to do the best work of their life.
  • Employ analytical and EQ skills to generate insights from customers’ data strategies and actions, respectively.
  • Travel to customer locations frequently, dependent on account and team needs.

RequirementsWhat You Have Done
  • Masters / PhD with 10+ years of industry experience in life sciences, preferably across pharma, biotech, or health tech, with deep domain expertise in discovery, preclinical, CMC, and/or Quality.
  • 5+ years in leadership roles within the Life Sciences software and data market
  • Extensive hands-on experience or direct oversight in one or more of the following areas: high throughput screening, preclinical toxicology, materials engineering, analytical development, drug substance (DS) synthesis and manufacturing.
  • Delivered requirements for AI/ML-driven solutions in operational or productized environments that improved efficiency, reduced cost, and enhanced data utilization.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with scientific data workflows and lab automation; exposure to FAIR principles and modern data architecture is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling ability to engage technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in customer-facing, consulting, or commercial-scientific interface roles.
  • Worked in startup environments
  • Created the highest performing teams in your orgs 
  • Evidenced strong leadership skills while navigating difficult periods with your team 
  • Coached and mentored Scientific Business Analysts and / or Scientific Data Architects who went on to do their best work due to your assistance 
  • Operated effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
