Build and lead the US sales organization for an AI-enabled cardiac imaging company: design territory and compensation models, develop playbooks, close strategic accounts, establish practice development to drive utilization, own go-to-market and CRM adoption, navigate market access and reimbursement, track KPIs, and represent the company at industry events.

We are a rapidly growing, Boston-based medical technology company using AI to enable clinicians to make informed decisions on cardiovascular care - leading to better patient outcomes, improved quality of care, and reduced healthcare costs. Come work at Elucid and be part of delivering on our mission to prevent heart attacks and strokes!
The cardiology market is at a turning point as AI-powered cardiac imaging moves from early adopter to standard of care, and you will be the commercial architect who shapes how that happens at Elucid. As Head of Sales, you'll build and lead our US sales organization from the ground up: designing the territory model, developing the playbook, closing strategic accounts and establishing the practice development function that will drive utilization growth across the country. We're looking for a builder to drive the transition from early clinical adoption to scaled commercial growth.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of proven sales leadership experience in SaMD, medical imaging, or AI-enabled clinical diagnostics, with a track record of building high-performing field sales organizations.
  • Deep expertise in market access and reimbursement, including experience navigating complex health system procurement and coding/billing education at the practice level.
  • Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies, including territory design, account segmentation, compensation planning, and CRM adoption (Salesforce preferred).
  • Familiarity with AI-augmented clinical decision support tools and the ability to articulate value to both clinical and administrative buyers.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with experience defining and tracking KPIs across pipeline growth, conversion, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and a consultative, value-based selling approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the presence and credibility to represent Elucid at major industry conferences and clinical forums.
Work Location and Travel:
  • For local candidates in Greater Boston, we operate in a hybrid model with regular in-office collaboration. Candidates outside of the Boston area are invited to apply as fully-remote employees.
  • Regular travel to industry events, current and prospect client sites, in-market events and our Boston office required.
Salary Range:
  • The anticipated base salary range for this position at Elucid is $250,000-$325,000. Compensation will be influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, job-related knowledge, skills, education, relevant experience, certifications, and geography as outlined in the job description.
