About The Team

Our Sales team is the driving force behind Protex AI's global growth and success. As we expand our presence with our US HQ in Boston, we're looking for exceptional leaders who can build and nurture high-performing teams while maintaining our commitment to excellence. We believe in fostering an environment where creativity, entrepreneurship, and customer obsession converge to create exceptional, lasting partnerships with our clients.

About the Role

As our Head of Sales, you will be the key architect of our commercial strategy, leading a hybrid sales motion that balances net-new customer acquisition with deep account expansion . You will own the end-to-end customer revenue lifecycle—driving initial deal capture and establishing predictable, long-term expansion pathways across top-tier enterprise accounts.

What You’ll Do
  • Strategic Revenue Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Enterprise Account Executives handling both new business acquisition and strategic expansion targets.

  • Drive the Land & Expand Motion: Design and execute commercial strategies that secure high-value initial wins while establishing clear frameworks for upsell, cross-sell, and site-level deployment expansion.

  • Deal Execution & Qualification: Coach your team on strategic deal qualification, value engineering, multi-stakeholder navigation, and contract negotiation to land profitable, long-term agreements.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Deployment teams to ensure rapid value realization for initial lands and smooth transitions to expansion programs.

  • Market & Account Analytics: Monitor account health metrics, expansion pipelines, and market dynamics to identify untapped growth opportunities within existing global enterprise accounts.

  • Executive Relationship Building: Serve as a key executive sponsor on strategic deals, presenting to and building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring
  • 10+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, with 3+ years managing Enterprise Account Executives in a fast-growing tech environment.

  • Proven track record in a Land & Expand model: Experience structuring pilot-to-enterprise enterprise agreements and managing multi-threaded accounts through growth cycles.

  • A Builder's Mindset: Driven by creating scalable processes, playbook development, and zero-to-one growth rather than managing standard playbooks.

  • Customer-Centric Commercial Focus: Obsessed with driving measurable customer ROI as the foundation for revenue growth and account expansion.

  • AI & Tech Curiosity: Strong technical literacy with a deep curiosity to learn and pitch complex, frontier AI solutions.

  • Inclusive Leadership: Natural ability to coach, empower, and inspire teams to exceed targets while maintaining a collaborative, high-trust culture.

Protex AI is an inclusive and equal opportunities employer. We are committed to creating an equitable workplace for everyone regardless of gender, civil status, family status, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, education level, or race.
