The PositionPT (Pharma Technical Operations) is establishing the One PT Data Office to serve as the strategic center for data governance, strategy, and enablement across the entire global PT network. This team is at the heart of our digital transformation, responsible for architecting and leading a central data office to unlock the full potential of PT’s data assets.
The Head of PT Data Acceleration will be a foundational leader within this new team, responsible for creating and implementing a unified data strategy for Pharma Technical Operations. This role is pivotal in driving our data-first culture, ensuring data is managed as a strategic asset to accelerate the realization of patient benefits. You will build and lead a high-performing team, championing a vision for a world-class data organization.
The OpportunityProvide strategic leadership and vision for data management across PT, ensuring alignment with PT's digital strategy and overall ambitions.
Develop and execute a comprehensive, long-term data strategy and Data Product roadmap, collaborating with stakeholders to meet organizational objectives.
Establish and enforce a robust, centralized data governance framework, including policies, standards, and stewardship practices to ensure data quality and security.
Architect a single, unified data ecosystem that is FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) and drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
Champion a "data-first" culture across the organization, developing strategies for user engagement and data literacy training.
Build, recruit, and lead a world-class, globally distributed team of data professionals, fostering a collaborative, agile, and results-oriented environment.
Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader, building strong strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and ensuring data initiatives deliver tangible business value.
You have 15+ years of progressive experience in data management, governance, or strategy, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role building and leading centralized data functions.
You have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, including regulatory requirements like GxP environments and data integrity.
Demonstrated experience driving the implementation of enterprise-wide data strategies that deliver measurable business value, ideally in a manufacturing or technical operations context.
You possess expert-level knowledge of data governance frameworks, architecture principles, master data management, and modern cloud-based data platforms.
You are an exceptional strategic thinker with proven ability to translate complex business challenges into an actionable data strategy and roadmap.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, or a related field, with a Master's degree being a significant advantage.
