About ReflexAI

ReflexAI brings the best in machine learning and natural language processing to mission-driven, people-centric organizations via innovative tools that transform how they train, develop, and empower their frontline teams. The Product team at ReflexAI leads multiple large-scale initiatives, including ReflexAI’s highly visible development of a tool that trains veterans to support each other through mental health challenges.

About this role

As Head of Product at ReflexAI, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our AI-powered tools that enhance training and quality assurance for high-stakes conversations - whether in behavioral health, sales, customer support, or other mission-critical settings. You'll grow and inspire a top-tier team of product managers and designers while fostering a culture of quality, execution, iteration, creativity, and empathy. While ReflexAI has already made significant progress – including recognition as Fast Company’s 2024 World Changing Idea in Data & AI – execution is critical in our high-growth startup environment. Your ability to translate strategy into outcomes while continually assessing tradeoffs will directly influence our success. Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, research, customer experience, and go-to-market teams, you will ensure our products not only delight users but also support ReflexAI's mission to scale human connection through technology. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of responsible AI across industries, driving sustainable growth and measurable human impact.

What you'll do

  • Lead roadmap planning and execution, translating company strategy and customer insights into prioritized initiatives.
  • Continuously assess tradeoffs and work with organizational leaders to ensure that the highest impact items are being prioritized.
  • Build and scale a high-performing product and design team, including the use of clear leveling frameworks and professional development paths.
  • Drive product operations and a data-informed culture, using metrics to guide delivery, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering and ML teams to turn new AI and engineering capabilities into scalable, impactful product features.
  • Ensure product excellence across the customer lifecycle from onboarding through retention, by working closely with sales, marketing, and support.
  • Conduct user research and validation to inform feature development and long-term vision.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Cultivate a mission-driven product culture centered on execution, empathy, and innovation.

Requirements for a great fit

  • You’ve been a product leader at a high-growth startup, including during the growth stage of Series A to Series C.
  • You have driven measurable results for a product in the B2B SaaS space, ideally enabled by AI capabilities.
  • You have 7+ years of product leadership experience, including managing product and design functions, and collaborating with engineering and ML teams.
  • You are familiar with (and ideally have firsthand experience) with quality assurance, training and feedback, or other tools that support contact centers.
  • You’re fluent in product analytics, feature flagging, and experimentation frameworks.
  • You’ve worked cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and customer success to drive growth and collect customer insights.
  • You have experience directly leading teams of 5-10, including both 0-to-1 product development and scaling mature product lines.

Benefits

  • Generous retirement, equity, healthcare, and PTO policies
  • Flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the United States
  • ReflexAI is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race/ethnicity, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, military status, neurodiversity, or any other federal, state or local protected class in the United States.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
