We are looking for an accomplished leader to join Guidewire’s Product organization, and lead a cross-functional team to drive innovation and continued success for our flagship Policy and Billing products. You will be responsible for understanding all aspects of the Policy and Billing business, including go-to-market, alliances, product strategy, product development, and delivery.
The focus of this role is to identify new opportunities that leverage Guidewire’s cloud platform and AI technologies to help our Policy and Billing customers achieve their business goals and transform policy admin and billing in P&C insurance. In this role you will lead a global product team spanning P&C insurance domain experts, UX design, engineering, product marketing, alliances and other cross-functional teams to own and drive Policy and Billing product vision and strategy from ideation to successful adoption by Guidewire customers.
You will be responsible for understanding the Policy and Billing business, including alliances and Go-to-Market. You will work with Sales and Go-to-Market leadership to set and track targets, understand pipeline, assist with deal closures, and ensure internal and external enablement and education of policy and billing product and features to further adoption. You will also work with our alliances team to understand insurtech and partner offerings that can further the Policy and Billing roadmap and vision.
This position is remote, however, expectation of travel to Guidewire, San Mateo HQ and customers globally is expected.

Key Responsibilities and Impact
  • Executive Strategy & Vision: Define the comprehensive, multi-year product strategy and execution roadmap for Policy and Billing, ensuring alignment with Guidewire's overall corporate objectives and measurable success for our global customer base.

  • Innovation Leadership: Drive market-driven innovation by identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities, particularly integrating cutting-edge AI/ML and Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities to advance policy administration and billing processes.

  • Global Team Management: Lead, mentor, and scale a globally distributed, high-performance product management and domain expert organization. Cultivate a customer-centered culture that delivers world-class, market-leading solutions.

  • Cross-Functional Influence: Operate as a highly influential member of the Product Leadership Team, driving organizational alignment across engineering, UX, sales, marketing, and alliances to ensure product delivery, go-to-market readiness, and enablement are flawless.

  • Business Acumen: Partner with Sales and Finance leadership to establish and exceed annual revenue targets, manage pipeline, assist in deal closure, and strengthen our alliances ecosystem to enhance the product roadmap and customer value.

Required Executive Experience

  • Product Leadership: A minimum of 10 years of progressive product management leadership experience within a commercial enterprise software organization, or equivalent experience with P&C Industry core systems (Policy Administration, Billing).

  • Cloud & Technology: Deep, demonstrated experience (5+ years) managing and scaling cloud-native business applications. Solid understanding and application of technologies including Cloud, AI/ML, and LLMs.

  • Organizational Influence: Proven ability to thrive and lead through influence in a complex, matrixed global organization.

  • Domain Expertise: Expert-level understanding of highly configurable enterprise software products, coupled with strong business acumen for driving revenue and portfolio success.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of persuasively presenting complex technical and business concepts to C-suite executives, customers, and industry analysts.

  • Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your role as well as use data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

  • Education: BA/BS required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $216,000 - $324,000 . Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
