How you’ll make an impact: 

The Head of Pricing & Market Access will lead global and U.S. pricing, reimbursement, access, and value strategies across Kymera's pipeline and future commercial products. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this executive will play a critical role in maximizing patient access and commercial value by shaping payer, provider, government, and health-system strategies from late-stage development through launch and lifecycle management. 

As a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team, this leader will partner closely with Marketing, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, HEOR, Market Research, Finance, Business Development, and Corporate Strategy to ensure access considerations are embedded throughout development and commercialization planning. 

The ideal candidate will bring deep immunology expertise, preferably including atopic dermatitis and asthma, along with a proven track record of market access leadership across U.S. and global markets. 

Pricing Strategy  

  • Lead global and U.S. pricing strategies across the portfolio, including launch pricing, lifecycle pricing, contracting, and access optimization.  
  • Develop evidence-based pricing recommendations informed by market dynamics, unmet need, competitive landscapes, and payer insights.  
  • Oversee pricing governance and provide recommendations to executive leadership and the Board as needed.  
  • Assess pricing implications of business development opportunities and pipeline investments.  

Market Access & Reimbursement  

  • Develop market access and reimbursement strategies aligned with Kymera's commercialization roadmap, including planned launches in atopic dermatitis and asthma.  
  • Execute payer and reimbursement strategies to support successful launches and sustained access.  
  • Establish value propositions and access approaches for Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and international markets.  
  • Lead engagement strategies with U.S. payers, PBMs, integrated delivery networks, and government stakeholders.  

Value & Evidence Strategy  

  • Partner with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and HEOR to ensure evidence-generation plans meet payer, HTA, and reimbursement requirements.  
  • Shape endpoint, outcomes, and real-world evidence strategies that support differentiation and value demonstration.  
  • Guide development of value dossiers, AMCP materials, economic models, and HTA submissions.  

Launch Excellence  

  • Lead access readiness and launch planning for late-stage programs.  
  • Develop pricing, access, reimbursement, and uptake assumptions for forecasting.  
  • Identify and mitigate market access risks throughout development and commercialization.  

Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence 

  • Serve as the company's expert on payer dynamics, healthcare policy, pricing trends, and reimbursement environments.  
  • Influence enterprise decisions through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.  
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and patient focus.  

 

Skills and experience you’ll bring: 
  • Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree required (MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent).  
  • 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology market access, pricing, reimbursement, HEOR, or related commercial functions.  
  • Significant experience developing and executing U.S. and global pricing and market access strategies.  
  • Demonstrated success leading market access strategy for specialty and/or biologic medicines.  
  • Immunology therapeutic area experience.  
  • Deep understanding of U.S. payer systems, PBMs, Medicare, Medicaid, and reimbursement pathways.  
  • Experience influencing clinical development and evidence-generation strategies to support payer value.  
  • Experience leading launch preparation and commercialization efforts for innovative specialty medicines.  
  • Experience interacting with global HTA agencies and ex-U.S. reimbursement bodies.  

Leadership & Organizational Capabilities  

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.  
  • Proven experience building, developing, and leading high-performing teams.  
  • Ability to drive strategic decisions in complex, matrixed environments.  

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Direct experience supporting products in atopic dermatitis.  
  • Experience in asthma.  
  • Experience in emerging biotechnology companies and pre-launch environments.

Compensation

  • Kymera offers a competitive compensation package that recognizes both results and capabilities through market-based, performance-driven pay.
  • The anticipated base salary range for this role is $315,000 – $395,000, with eligibility for annual bonus, equity participation, and comprehensive benefits.
  • Actual salary is based on a holistic evaluation of the specific role/level as well as each candidate’s depth of experience and the capabilities they bring to the position.
