About Pryzm

Pryzm is transforming how companies engage with the federal government.

Today, federal procurement and capture is fragmented across disconnected workflows, siloed intelligence, and institutional knowledge locked in spreadsheets and inboxes. Pryzm brings together market intelligence, budget data, program visibility, and human insights into a single platform that helps teams navigate and win in the federal ecosystem.

Built by alumni from Palantir, Lockheed Martin, and leading AI companies, Pryzm is trusted by organizations across the national security and federal technology ecosystem. Our mission is simple: deliver the right capabilities to the missions that matter most.

The Role

As Pryzm’s Head of Marketing you will define Pryzm’s brand strategy.

This is a high-impact, founding-level opportunity for someone who wants to define how Pryzm presents itself to the world and shape the marketing voice of a rapidly scaling defense and federal civilian technology company.

You will work closely with leadership, product, engineering, and sales to translate technical capabilities into clear, compelling messaging that resonates with our customers.

You will play a foundational role in shaping Pryzm’s brand, launches, and marketing engine as the company scales.

What You'll Do

Own Pryzm’s product narrative and positioning

  • Define and continuously refine how Pryzm communicates its value to the federal and national security ecosystem.

  • Translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling messaging that resonates with customers and differentiates Pryzm in the market.

Lead product launches and go-to-market execution

  • Partner with product and engineering to plan and execute product launches, ensuring new capabilities are introduced with strong messaging, coordinated campaigns, and clear customer value.

Enable the sales team with best-in-class collateral

  • Develop high-quality sales assets, including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and demo narratives, that help the sales team clearly communicate Pryzm’s value and win complex enterprise deals.

Shape Pryzm’s digital marketing presence

  • Own messaging and customer journey across the website and key digital channels, and develop content that drives awareness, engagement, and qualified inbound pipeline.

Build and scale marketing foundations

  • Work with leadership and external partners on communications, PR, and marketing initiatives while helping establish the early marketing infrastructure that will support Pryzm’s growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • Deep gig experience in owning and developing visuals, content, brands, and narratives, or 2+ years of VC-backed, high growth SaaS marketing experience (at least 1 year of product marketing experience)

  • Background in determining strategic direction and execute against that strategy

  • Experience translating complex products into clear, compelling messaging

  • Exceptional taste and design preferences as evidenced by your portfolio

  • Familiarity with digital marketing, content strategy, and brand positioning

  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment with significant ownership

  • Strong product intuition and the ability to collaborate closely with engineers and product teams

Qualifications
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Boston, DC, or NY

  • US Person

  • Veterans strongly encouraged to apply

  • Willingness for occasional travel
