Gecko Robotics is helping the world’s most important organizations ensure the availability, reliability, and sustainability of critical infrastructure. Gecko's complete and connected solutions combine wall-climbing robots, industry-leading sensors, and an AI-powered data platform to provide customers with a unique window into the current and future health of their physical assets. This enables real-time decision making to increase the efficiency and safety of operations, promote mission readiness, and protect the environment and civilization from the effects of infrastructure failure.

Role at a Glance

Gecko is scaling rapidly, and we’re looking for a Head of Marketing with a focus on product to shape our product and brand narrative, lead our go-to-market strategy, and drive adoption of our AI-powered built world solutions. This is a hands-on, trailblazing role where you'll collaborate closely with all of Gecko, with a focus on Product, Sales, and Solutions to strategically shape our market identity and cement Gecko's position as the solution for the built world.

You bring strong vision and taste making ability, but you're equally energized by rolling up your sleeves and executing in a fast-moving environment. You’re someone who excels at translating complex technical ideas for diverse audiences and thrives on building trust across teams to deeply understand and communicate what makes Gecko unique. You'll be responsible for scaling the overall marketing and product marketing function, crafting differentiated messaging, and supporting continued growth and adoption. Ultimately, you’ll be the champion of our brand, establishing a cohesive market presence and a compelling narrative that sets us apart.

What you will do
  • Develop and own the launch of messaging and materials with a focus around new features and products, working deeply with Product, Engineering, and Solutions to ensure seamless execution and market resonance.

  • Refine brand guidelines and ensure a consistent tone of voice across all marketing and communication materials, ensuring every touchpoint reinforces Gecko's leadership in the industry.

  • Uncover and communicate brand stories by partnering with customer champions to understand their success stories and translate them into compelling narratives that showcase the real-world value of our solutions.

  • Create and maintain sales enablement materials – including pitch decks, case studies, other collateral as needed to empower the sales team.

  • Deeply understand, analyze, and stay up to date on market trends, customer insights and other key industry intelligence to inform product strategy and identify potential opportunities.

  • Effectively measure and report on the success of product marketing initiatives, using data and iterating on messaging.

  • Optimize company digital tools and marketing operations to better communicate our stories and value to customers.

About You
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible product marketing experience, ideally with exposure to industries we work in, such as manufacturing, industrials, or AI products.

  • Experience in a B2B SaaS, Data or AI startup.

  • Proven ability to create differentiated messaging and positioning for technical products to non-technical and technical audiences.

  • Outstanding ability to influence and build credibility across groups with strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Track record of excellent management skills, including recruiting, up-skilling and mentoring.

  • Strong analytical background with the ability to use data for strong storytelling and decision making.

  • Demonstrated commercial mindset with a deep understanding of how to partner with sales and product to drive growth.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives and content.

  • Desire and demonstrated expertise operating in a dynamic, rapidly changing startup environment.
