- Lead and mentor Technical System Owners.
- Allocate resources and manage workload distribution effectively.
- Close collaboration with global/local business process owners, site/program sponsors, project managers, digital core / products owner, critical infrastructure management, global DD&T, QC lab teams and automation teams and external vendors.
Strategic Oversight
- Develop and implement strategies for the optimization of technical systems.
- Ensure alignment of system management practices with organizational goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and user experience.
System optimization/delivery
- Understands the business needs and its strategy/initiatives, and translates them into technical requirement.
- Identifies areas for improvement within the system to enhance performance and efficiency
- Implements changes and optimizations to improve system functionality and user experience
- Monitors system performance and makes adjustments as needed
System management & maintenance
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of specific technical systems
- Ensures that systems are running smoothly, efficiently, and reliably
- Performs regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades to keep systems current and secure
- Provide training for operation support and key users
Technical Foundation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define technical requirements for new digital core and products
- Support development and documentation of architecture of new digital core and products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security

- Identifies and manages risks related to IT systems
- Develops and implements risk mitigation strategies
- Ensures that the system is compliant with all relevant regulations (GMP) and standards

Skills and qualifications:
- Education (minimum/desirable): Masters' degree in Engineering, Automation, Information Technology or related Engineering/Technical field
- More than five (5) years of experience in the life sciences industry on large scale applications, or work experience in manufacturing plants in other industries.
- More than five (5) years of experience in the management and execution of technical projects
- Good Lab quality process /system experience (LIMS and CDS) and / or manufacturing one (MES and automation)
- Ability to quickly learn software functionality, pharmaceutical production processes and related configuration processes
- Preferably Know-how in Computer System Validation (CSV), data integrity and cyber security
- Strong communication skills and ability to write/read in English and Japanese
- Ability to collaborate with matrix and cross functional team from different business departments
- Ability to prepare and provide project plans, presentations and templates for decision making
- Excellent business acumen with problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation
