  • Oversee funding flows, including drawdowns, capital calls, distributions, investment funding, intercompany movements, and related cash activity.
  • Ensure funding and drawdown processes are well controlled, clearly defined, and executed accurately and on time.

Data, AI, Automation, and Platform Connectivity

  • Modernize insurance treasury infrastructure by moving toward a more automated, data-led, and AI-enabled operating model.
  • Improve data quality, system connectivity, dashboards, forecasting tools, workflow automation, and exception management.
  • Bring together treasury operating platforms and processes across insurance and asset management.
  • Partner with Global Atlantic, KKR Treasury, Investment Operations, Portfolio Management, Finance, Technology, and commercial teams to create a more integrated and scalable treasury model.

Governance, Controls, and Risk Management

  • Maintain a strong governance and controls framework for insurance treasury.
  • Ensure processes are documented, repeatable, auditable, and appropriately controlled.
  • Identify operational, liquidity, settlement, counterparty, data, and process risks, and drive remediation where needed.
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, Finance, and other stakeholders on reviews, audits, and control assessments.

Team Leadership and Talent Development

  • Lead, manage, and develop the insurance treasury team.
  • Build team capability, accountability, and a high-performance operating culture.

  • Experience in insurance (life/annuity or reinsurance preferred), asset management, alternatives, private markets, banking, or another complex financial services environment; exposure to both insurance balance sheet and asset management cash flows strongly preferred.
  • Deep working knowledge of cash positioning, liquidity and trade-date cash forecasting, funding flows, drawdowns, capital calls, distributions, intercompany movements, and bank account structures.
  • Strong understanding of asset classes relevant to an insurance general account and alternatives platform — including private credit, structured products, MBS/ABS, public fixed income, equities, and FX/securities settlement.
  • Demonstrated track record modernizing treasury or finance operating models through data, automation, workflow redesign, cloud-based platforms, or AI-enabled solutions.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba, GTreasury, FIS Quantum, or equivalent), modern payment infrastructure (SWIFT, host-to-host, real-time payments), and data/BI tooling (data lake/warehouse, Tableau/Power BI, Python or SQL a plus).
