At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it.
As our Head of Growth Marketing, you’ll lead the team responsible for introducing Vanta to new customers, nurturing them through the buyer journey, and keeping them engaged long after they sign on. You’ll oversee lifecycle marketing, performance media, advertising, and integrated campaigns, building a growth engine that drives both short-term revenue and long-term brand equity for Vanta.
This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity and accountability. Vanta has a history of marketing differently—we were one of the first B2B companies to go big on podcast ads, we launched viral billboards on the 101, and we’ve continued to find ways to stand out while scaling up. Now, we’re looking for a leader to take that spirit and channel it into high-performing, highly measurable programs that fuel Vanta’s next stage of growth.
What you’ll do as a Head of Growth Marketing at Vanta:
Team Leadership: Mentor, empower and develop a talented team of marketers by embodying Vanta’s principles: lead with resilience, decide with frameworks and presume good intent..
Drive qualified pipeline: Partner closely with Sales and Revenue Operations to generate high-quality leads, meet pipeline goals, and continuously refine what “qualified” looks like.
Be data-driven by default: Establish the tools, reporting, and habits to measure what matters. Use data to guide strategy, coach your team, and communicate impact clearly.
Deliver insights back into the business: Help inform messaging, channel mix, and campaign strategy through ongoing experimentation and analysis.
Refine attribution and forecasting: Partner with RevOps to improve pipeline forecasting and surface actionable insights at every stage of the funnel.
Run brand-forward, full-funnel campaigns: Work with Creative and Product Marketing to deliver campaigns that reflect Vanta’s brand—and move the needle on growth.
Support our upmarket motion: Adapt and evolve our GTM as we continue to serve startups while expanding into larger companies and the enterprise.
Engage directly with senior leadership: Regularly share insights and performance updates with Vanta’s CMO, CRO, CPO, and CEO, helping shape strategic decisions across the business.
How to be successful in this role:
Have 10+ years of B2B marketing experience with deep ownership of demand generation and lifecycle marketing
Are a proven pipeline leader who knows how to align marketing with sales to deliver revenue results
Think in funnels and forecasts—you’re fluent in attribution models, CRM data, and forecasting
Know how to balance brand and performance, and believe great marketing is both measurable and memorable
Have built and led high-performing teams across paid, lifecycle, and campaign marketing
Excel in cross-functional environments and know how to drive alignment across GTM, Product, and Executive teams
Get excited by growth stage challenges—adapting models as companies scale from SMB to enterprise
Are curious about security, compliance, or the future of trust online
What you can expect as a Vantan:
Industry-competitive compensation
100% covered medical, dental, and vision benefits with dependents coverage
16 weeks fully-paid parental Leave for all new parents
Health & wellness and remote workplace stipends
Family planning benefits through Carrot Fertility
401(k) matching
Flexible work hours and location
Open PTO policy
11 paid holidays in the US
Offices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, and Sydney
To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. About Vanta
We started in 2018, in the wake of several high-profile data breaches. Online security was only becoming more important, but we knew firsthand how hard it could be for fast-growing companies to invest the time and manpower it takes to build a solid security foundation. Vanta was inspired by a vision to restore trust in internet businesses by enabling companies to improve and prove their security. From our early days automating security monitoring for compliance standards like SOC 2, HIPAA and ISO 27001 to creating the world's leading Trust Management Platform, our vision remains unchanged.
Now more than ever, making security continuous—not just a point-in-time check— is essential. Thousands of companies rely on Vanta to build, maintain and demonstrate their trust— all in a way that's real-time and transparent.
