This leader will own talent acquisition strategy and outcomes across technical, GTM, G&A, executive, and early career hiring, while partnering closely with executive leadership and the Head of People.

This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments and knows how to balance speed, quality, efficiency, and long-term talent outcomes.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and execute Cresta’s global Talent Acquisition strategy in partnership with People and business leadership to support rapid growth across regions and functions.
  • Partner closely with executives and senior leaders to shape hiring strategy, priorities, and workforce planning.
  • Build, scale, and lead a high-performing internal Talent Acquisition team, defining the right mix of in-house recruiters and external partners to support rapid growth, burst hiring needs, and global expansion.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop TA leaders and recruiters, setting clear expectations for performance, capability growth, and impact.
  • Strategically select, manage, and optimize external recruiting partners (RPOs, agencies) to complement internal teams and ensure consistent quality and outcomes.
  • Support and lead senior and executive recruiting efforts in partnership with People leadership, as needed.
  • Design, track, and continuously refine TA metrics to drive hiring efficiency, quality, predictability, and scale.
  • Own recruiting operations and outcomes, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, hiring velocity, and operational excellence.
  • Champion an exceptional, inclusive, and consistent candidate experience across all roles, regions, and stages of growth.
  • Embed equitable, inclusive, and bias-aware hiring practices into all recruiting processes and programs.
  • Lead and scale employer brand and talent marketing programs across social, events, and community engagement in partnership with Marketing and People teams.
  • Refine and scale Cresta’s campus and early career strategy, partnering with recruiters to build internship and new graduate pipelines globally.
  • Lead the strategy for Cresta’s Talent Acquisition technology ecosystem, including Greenhouse, LinkedIn, Juicebox, CoderPad, and related tools, while identifying opportunities for future improvements and optimization.
  • Partner closely with the Head of People on broader talent, workforce planning, and people initiatives.
  • Build a high-trust, high-accountability recruiting culture grounded in mentorship, ownership, and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including senior leadership roles in high-growth technology companies.
  • Proven ability to scale recruiting organizations in fast-paced, global environments.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, challenge, and partner with senior leaders.
  • Deep expertise in recruiting operations, metrics, and TA technology.
  • Experience leading executive-level and critical senior hires.
  • Demonstrated success in building employer brands and early-career programs.
  • Passion for developing people, building durable teams, and delivering results.
  • Bring a builder mindset, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution to move work forward in a high-growth environment.

Perks & Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision plans designed to support you and your family
  • Generous paid parental leave
  • Monthly Health & Wellness allowance
  • Work-from-home office stipend
  • Lunch reimbursement for in-office employees

Compensation at Cresta:

Cresta’s approach to compensation is simple: recognize impact, reward excellence, and invest in our people. We offer competitive, location-based pay that reflects the market and what each individual brings to the table.

The posted base salary range represents what we expect to pay for this role in a given location. Final offers are shaped by factors like experience, skills, education, and geography. In addition to base pay, total compensation includes equity and a comprehensive benefits package for you and your family.

OTE Range$220,000 - $300,000 + Equity

We have noticed a rise in recruiting impersonations across the industry, where scammers attempt to access candidates' personal and financial information through fake interviews and offers. All Cresta recruiting email communications will always come from the @cresta.ai domain. Any outreach claiming to be from Cresta via other sources should be ignored.  If you are uncertain whether you have been contacted by an official Cresta employee, reach out to [email protected]

  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
