As a Head of Digital Systems at Formlabs, you will be a senior leader, driving the strategy and execution for our global Digital Systems organization.

You will work on complex and ambiguous problems, leveraging your deep infrastructure expertise to deliver impactful solutions for our internal stakeholders. You will partner closely with sales, marketing, service, operations, and other cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver innovative digital systems solutions that improve our operational efficiency and enable our growth.

You will be joining the Systems team, which enables Formlabs teams with enterprise applications, infrastructure, data and security to do their best work. The team supports all areas of the company and has team members globally.  

This is a high-impact role for a seasoned business systems leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about shaping the future of how Formlabs operates. This role is based in our Somerville, MA office and will be a full-time position, reporting to the CIO.  

The Job:

  • Define and drive the Digital Systems vision, strategy, and roadmap, focusing on CRM, eCommerce, digital marketing technologies, and related integrations.
  • Lead and manage a global team (~5-10 staff), providing mentorship and fostering a high-performing environment.
  • Define the target state digital architecture for our CRM, eCommerce, and related systems, ensuring it leverages modern, cost-effective, and scalable technologies to support our global B2C and B2B operations.
  • Collaborate with Business Systems product management, key business stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Service), and cross-functional Business Systems teams to design and deliver major digital systems transformation roadmaps and projects.
  • Translate business requirements into digital systems plans (e.g., system architectures, data flows, integration specifications) in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Prioritize digital systems backlog and team workload, optimize resource allocation, and track KPIs to maximize business impact on revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. 

You:

  • Seasoned digital systems leader with 5+ years managing complex organizations and global teams.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and scaling CRM and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus).
  • Deep understanding of digital systems principles (e.g., customer journey mapping, marketing automation, sales processes, e-commerce operations, integration patterns).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for user experience, data-driven decision-making, and system reliability. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with ERP systems and their integration with CRM and eCommerce.
  • Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, BigQuery, VertexAI) in the context of sales, marketing, and customer data.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
