Sanofi is seeking an experienced and visionary leader for the role of Head of Digital P&C / People Services. This critical position is responsible for the product management, digital support, and configuration sustainment teams across five key People & Culture (P&C) portfolios: Core HRIS, Reward and Performance, Talent, Learning, and Workplace Experience. The leader in this role will manage technical debt and backlogs, anticipate functional requirements, and ensure the successful delivery of the strategic roadmap. This role will also oversee change requests, process design, and functional configuration within the product management portfolio teams.

Main Responsibilities:

Product Management Leadership:

  • Oversee the product management teams across the Core HRIS, Reward and Performance, Talent, Learning, and Workplace Experience portfolios.

  • Ensure that all digital products align with Sanofi's strategic objectives and P&C goals.

Digital Support and Configuration Sustainment:

  • Lead the digital support and configuration sustainment teams, ensuring continuous improvement and optimal performance of core technologies.

  • Oversee localization oversight, tenant management, and security administration to maintain system integrity and compliance.

Technical Debt and Backlog Management:

  • Proactively manage technical debt and backlogs, ensuring the technology landscape is prepared to meet evolving functional requirements.

  • Prioritize initiatives that align with business needs and strategic objectives.

Strategic Roadmap Delivery:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver the strategic technology roadmap, ensuring timely and efficient deployment of digital solutions.

  • Guide the teams through complex digital transformations while maintaining focus on long-term goals.

End-to-End Process Design:

  • Drive end-to-end process design and functional configuration to support the seamless integration of digital products within the P&C function and People Services.

  • Provide technical advisory support to data governance and other key areas.

Change Management and Release Oversight:

  • Oversee change management processes, including triage and prioritization of change requests.

  • Ensure that releases are managed effectively, with minimal disruption to operations and a strong focus on user adoption.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Digital Products, and People Services, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of technology solutions.

About You

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Human Resources, or a related field is required. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital product management, technology strategy, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing large global teams.

  • Proven track record of designing, developing, and delivering transformative digital solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex governance environments.

  • Extensive knowledge of digital capabilities and methods.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong technical background with expertise in digital solution deployment, automation, governance, and configuration management.

  • Familiarity with Core HRIS, Reward and Performance, Talent, Learning, and Workplace Experience platforms is highly desirable.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional teams through complex technology initiatives.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with Digital, People Services and P&C CoE stakeholders.

Talent Development:

  • Demonstrated ability to attract, recruit, and develop talent, connect both on an individual level and in large groups, foster, encourage and (when needed) enforce accountability, cultivate entrepreneurship, and learn the strengths and weaknesses of the team ensure all succeed.

Strategic Vision:

  • Strategic thinker, with a track record of delivering results, exceeding goals and making credible and actionable decisions through a combination of analysis, experience, judgment and insight.

  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate business needs, manage technical debt, and deliver on a strategic roadmap with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Experience in leading change management initiatives is a plus.

Sanofi's Bridgewater, NJ office is scheduled to relocate to Morristown, NJ on or around March 24, 2025 and this role will then be based in Morristown, NJ.​
