Our client, a mission-driven, leading health and wellness platform that is revolutionizing telehealth for providers and patients alike, has exclusively retained Solutus Legal Search to assist the Company in its search for a Head Counsel, Regulatory.

Reporting to the VP, Legal, Legislative and Regulatory, this attorney will lead a team of attorneys who are responsible for handling complex legal matters relating to digitally-native care delivery, pharmacy operations and fulfillment, lab operations, and innovations at the intersection of technology and health care, including AI and FDA-regulated products. In this high impact, highly visible role, you will act as a key advisor to executives and other senior leaders, providing solution-oriented legal advice, managing risk, and developing legal strategies to support the global growth of the company.

Strong candidates will have 12+ years of experience practicing at a law firm and in-house, with deep knowledge of and experience advising on the healthcare regulatory landscape, including areas such as: digital care delivery, clinical practice, corporate practice of medicine, pharmacy operations and fulfillment, laboratory services, state-based Stark/Anti-Kickback laws, and state and federal regulatory standards across a range of products, services, and facilities. They will have management experience with a strong track record of building, leading, and mentoring teams, and will be superb, trusted business partners who are self-starters and comfortable making risk-based decisions in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Experience with telehealth, health tech, and knowledge of pharmacy law and regulations is desirable.

This role is remote, and the person in this role can work from anywhere in the country as long as they are admitted to a bar in at least one state and eligible to practice in-house in their state of residence.

Compensation is targeted at an annual base salary range of $270,000 to $320,000, an equity grant, and generous benefits. The total compensation package will vary and depend on the candidate’s level of seniority, number of years of directly relevant experience, and geographic location.
