About the Role

Suno is hiring a Head of Communications to be the founding member and build a communication function at Suno. You will work cross functionally from People and Policy to Growth, Product and Marketing to amplify Suno’s brand externally and streamline information internally. This role will be a senior member of our leadership team and will be the architect for how Suno presents itself to our users, the industry, and the media.

What You'll Do
  • Lead a unified marketing and communications strategy, building from foundational work and aligning to Suno’s strategic goals, mission, and shifting needs into our next phase of growth.

  • Develop the Suno voice in a variety of public media landscapes including industry publications, audio, long form and short form media.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Brand, Music, People, Legal and various other functions to ensure external messaging of new products and marketing is inspiring, accurate and engaging.

  • Partner with the People & Operations team to establish internal communications strategies that maintain culture, connection, and employee alignment

  • Mentor, grow, and lead a high-performing communications team with creativity, empathy, and strategic direction

  • Craft thought leadership strategies that reach Suno’s target audiences, further innovation, and create new partnership opportunities

  • Represent Suno externally as needed, supporting our presence in events, industry conversations, and media opportunities

  • Use data, market intelligence, customer insights, and sentiment analysis to refine and strengthen Suno’s brand and narrative

What You'll Need
  • 10 years+of communications experience with a deep background in media relations, PR, executive comms, and internal storytelling

  • Deep relationships with top-tier music and media industry members, experience influencing consumer narratives.

  • Experience with policy communications in a new or emerging field

  • Global perspective with experience adapting messaging across diverse audiences and geographies

  • Comfort with ambiguity. You’re always learning and growing, and can help bring clarity to a fast-moving problem space with more questions than answers.

  • A track record of delivering launches and storytelling that drive measurable business impact.
