The Opportunity 

Velotic is redefining how market, industry analyst, and competitive intelligence drive business performance. 

We are seeking a Head of Analyst Relations & Market Insights to build and lead a modern insights function—one that goes beyond traditional analyst relations to directly influence strategy, positioning, and go-to-market execution. 

This role sits at the intersection of market intelligence and business decision-making, transforming external signals into clear, actionable insight. 

Job Description

What You’ll Own 

Analyst Relations (AR) 

  • Manage and deepen relationships with key industry analysts and firms  

  • Coordinate briefings, inquiries, and strategic engagements  

  • Translate analyst research and interactions into actionable business recommendations  

  • Ensure alignment with analyst citation and research usage guidelines  

  • Manage analyst subscriptions, sponsorships, and research investments  

Competitive Intelligence 

  • Track key competitors, their offerings, positioning, and market movements  

  • Identify emerging threats, new entrants, and strategic shifts  

  • Deliver quarterly competitive landscape reports and executive briefings  

  • Partner with product marketing to develop and maintain high-impact battlecards  

Market Insights 

  • Monitor markets for emerging trends, growth opportunities, and evolving customer requirements  

  • Conduct product, segment, and regional analyses including:  

  • Go-to-market assessments  

  • Pricing and packaging insights  

  • Competitive positioning summaries  

  • Deliver monthly insights to revenue leadership and broader quarterly deep dives  

  • Partner cross-functionally to develop tools such as TCO calculators and strategic guides  

Insights Activation & Influence 

  • Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for product, marketing, and revenue teams  

  • Drive adoption of insights through presentations, workshops, and internal enablement  

  • Create scalable, high-value assets (e.g., market guides, industry primers, strategic briefs)  

AI-Enabled Research & Operations 

  • Leverage advanced AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, and insight generation  

  • Train teams on effective AI usage and prompt design  

  • Continuously improve how insights are gathered, shared, and operationalized  

  • Maintain internal knowledge hubs and manage operational processes  

Qualifications

What You Bring 

  • 8–12 years of experience in analyst relations, market intelligence, strategy, or related roles  

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear narratives and recommendations  

  • Experience working with or influencing product, marketing, and sales teams  

  • Familiarity with analyst firms and competitive intelligence practices  

  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment  

  • Experience in industrial software, enterprise SaaS, or adjacent technology sectors preferred
