Von by Rattle is an AI sales analyst built to answer go to market questions that typically get stuck in the BI backlog.

Problem we’re trying to solve

Teams ask questions in plain English, and Von reasons across CRM data, customer calls, emails, data warehouses, internal knowledge, and external signals to explain what is happening and why. It delivers decision ready answers in minutes, not weeks.

Von is built for high frequency, cross functional questions across Sales, RevOps, Customer Success, and Leadership, replacing manual analysis and slow reporting with immediate, explainable insights.

We are early in the journey with Von, with a clear path to rapid growth, built on five years of experience scaling Rattle with modern revenue teams. Our goal is to eliminate the manual drudgery of go to market operations by making answers fast, explainable, and decision ready across the entire revenue stack.

Backed by Tier-A investors, including Lightspeed, Insight Partners, Google Ventures, and Sequoia.

The Role

We're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager who owns the full inbound engine — from the first paid click to a booked meeting. This is not a brand role or a campaign manager role. This is the person who obsesses over conversion, understands the technical plumbing behind every touchpoint, and makes the machine run better every week.

You'll manage our paid media agency, own the website conversion experience in Webflow, build and optimize HubSpot nurture programs, and develop audience targeting and retargeting strategies across LinkedIn and Google. You know the tools well enough to QA agency work with a sharp eye, catch what's not working before it costs us, and make smart decisions about where to push and where to pull back.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the VP of Marketing. You'll have real ownership, real scope, and a team that will actually listen when you bring data and ideas.

What You'll Own

Paid Media Management

  • Day-to-day oversight of our paid media agency running LinkedIn Sponsored Content and Google Ads campaigns
  • QA of targeting, creative, spend pacing, and performance against pipeline goals — you know enough to catch problems before they compound
  • Translate business priorities into campaign briefs the agency can execute against; hold them accountable to results
  • Manage budget allocation across channels in partnership with VP of Marketing

Website Conversion & Inbound Experience

  • Own the inbound experience on our Webflow website — layout, messaging, CTAs, and conversion flows
  • Develop and iterate on conversion strategies to turn visitors into meeting requests
  • Partner with the team to develop and optimize page content for SEO, GEO, and conversion — you understand how discoverability and conversion work together
  • Run A/B tests and use data to make continuous improvements

HubSpot Nurture & Marketing Automation

  • Build and manage lead nurture programs in HubSpot for inbound leads from paid media, website, and events
  • Develop trigger-based workflows based on behavior, lead source, and lifecycle stage
  • Partner with Marketing Ops on database segmentation needs and goals to ensure nurture programs reach the right audiences
  • Keep lead handoffs to sales clean and timely

Audience Strategy & Retargeting

  • Think strategically about how to leverage our database, event attendees, and engaged contacts for LinkedIn targeting and retargeting
  • Build and manage custom and lookalike audiences across LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Google
  • Ensure targeting strategies are aligned with our broader GTM programs and account lists
  • Connect the dots between what we're doing in the field and how we amplify it digitally

What We're Looking For

  • 3-6 years in marketing, with at least 1-2 years most recently in a growth marketing or performance marketing role at a B2B SaaS company — startup experience a strong plus
  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Google Ads — you've run campaigns yourself, not just managed people who do
  • HubSpot proficiency: workflows, lead scoring, segmentation, and reporting
  • Comfortable in Webflow — you can make meaningful edits and updates without needing a developer for every change
  • Experience managing agency relationships and holding external partners accountable to performance standards
  • Strong analytical instincts — you use data to make decisions and can build a simple dashboard or pull a report without waiting on someone else
  • Startup sensibility: you're comfortable with ambiguity, willing to roll up your sleeves, and can flex into adjacent work when the team needs it
  • Clear communicator who can explain performance, trade-offs, and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ABM or account-based targeting approaches
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and how marketing and sales data connect
  • Prior work with RevOps, Sales, or CRO-adjacent audiences
  • Experience at a company selling to revenue teams or in the sales tech space

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and equity
  • Meaningful scope from day one — you'll own things, not just support them
  • A sharp, low-ego team that moves fast and communicates directly
  • In-office culture in San Francisco — we build together in person
  • The chance to be part of an AI-first product being brought to market at a pivotal moment — as Von succeeds, your career story grows impressively

If you love solving complex data challenges and want to work on high-impact AI solutions, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and be part of the Von - (By Rattle) Revolution!

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
