Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on, data-driven Growth Marketer to lead customer acquisition and retention across six fast-growing BUs within Field Services. This role is responsible for building and scaling a high-performance growth engine across paid media, SEO, conversion rate optimization, and lifecycle marketing. You’ll run experiments, optimize funnels, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive measurable results. Ideal candidates are analytical, self-directed, and passionate about full-funnel growth—combining marketing, product, and strategy to accelerate revenue and customer engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Experimentation & A/B Testing

  • Run tests on everything from landing page layouts and email subject lines to pricing and onboarding flows.
  • Set clear hypotheses, measure results, and iterate rapidly to find what drives growth.

2. Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Dive deep into analytics tools to understand user behavior, drop-off points, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build dashboards, run cohort analysis, and uncover actionable insights.

3. Customer Acquisition

  • Execute and optimize paid acquisition campaigns (Google, Meta, TikTok, etc.).
  • Drive SEO/content strategies to grow organic traffic and leads.
  • Explore referral systems, partnerships, and other scalable acquisition loops.

 4. Retention & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Improve user retention through optimized email sequences, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
  • Build onboarding journeys and engagement loops that keep users active and coming back.

5. Growth Loops & Virality

  • Maintain a performance dashboard to track full-funnel health from impression to pipeline dollar generated.
  • Develop self-sustaining growth loops (e.g., referrals, user-generated content).
  • Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) across all key acquisition touchpoints including paid landing pages, lead forms, and demos.
  • Think long-term: how can every user help in the next?

6. Collaboration with Product & Engineering

  • Partner with product teams to improve UX, onboarding, and feature adoption.
  • Identify friction points in the funnel and propose high-impact fixes.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven track record of running experiments, optimizing funnels, and scaling acquisition.
  • Deep experience in performance marketing (Google Ads, Meta, etc.) and SEO.
  • Strong analytical skills — you’re comfortable using the associated tools like.
  • An understanding of HTML and basic website editing — able to make quick landing page tweaks or collaborate closely with developers.
  • Product-minded: you think beyond just marketing and into how the product drives growth.
  • Curious, scrappy, and outcome driven.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on growth marketing experience, ideally in a B2B company.
  • 3+ years of  WordPress CMS (or similar platforms) for content management and optimizations.
  • 3+ Experience with lifecycle marketing tactics (email, push, in-app).

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
