Infisical is looking to hire exceptional talent to join our teams in building the open source security infrastructure stack for the AI era.

We're building a generational company with a world-class team. This isn’t a place to coast — but if you want to grow fast, take ownership, and solve tough problems, you’ll be challenged like nowhere else.

Infisical is looking for a founding growth marketer who can combine deep curiosity with a sharp sense of storytelling and growth.

We’re one of the most active open source security infrastructure repositories on GitHub — used by companies like Hugging Face, Lucid, and multiple Fortune 500s. As we scale, we’re looking for someone who can translate our technical innovations into clear, engaging, and discoverable content that helps developers adopt and succeed with Infisical.

This role sits at the intersection of SEO, analytics, and growth marketing. Ideal for someone who thrives on building scalable demand engines and driving measurable growth. You'll focus on optimizing our organic presence, improving conversion funnels, and experimenting across channels to accelerate Infisical's adoption.

You’ll work closely with our founders to:

  • Own SEO & GEO strategy: Build and execute an SEO plan that grows high-intent traffic through technical and non-technical content optimization.

  • Optimize growth funnels: Identify drop-offs in the user journey, run experiments, and implement CRO tactics to increase demo requests, and conversions.

  • Run email nurture and retargeting campaigns: Build automated email sequences and retargeting flows to re-engage free users, PQLs, and site visitors — moving them toward demo requests or enterprise trials.

  • Coordinate with sales on collateral and feedback loops: Regularly gather input from AEs/SEs to refine messaging, prioritize new materials, and improve conversion rates at every stage of the buyer journey.

  • Manage conference presence: Creatively organize and support Infisical’s presence at industry events (e.g. KubeCon, re:Invent).

  • Support product launches with mid-funnel assets: Collaborate with DevRel and Product on major launches by producing tailored content for enterprise audiences.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in growth marketing, SEO, or demand generation.

  • Experience running campaigns across multiple channels (SEO, paid, social, email).

  • Comfortable creating content across multiple formats — written, video, and social.

  • Based in the US or Canada.

Bonus

  • Previous experience as a developer marketer or working on developer-facing products.

  • Familiarity with developer communities, open source, or technical audiences.

  • Understanding of software engineering concepts, developer tooling, or infrastructure.

How You’ll Grow

You’ll be the first marketing hire at Infisical — helping shape how we show up in the developer ecosystem. Your work will have a direct impact on how thousands of engineers discover, understand, and adopt Infisical across open source and enterprise.

Team, Values & Benefits

Our team brings experience from companies like Figma, AWS, and Red Hat. We operate primarily as a remote team but maintain a strong presence in San Francisco, where we have an office. We also get together in person throughout the year for off-sites, conferences, and team gatherings.

At Infisical, we offer competitive compensation, including both salary and equity options. Additional benefits, such as a lunch stipend and a work setup budget, are available with more details to be found on our careers page.

About Us

Infisical is the open source security infrastructure platform that engineers use for secrets management, internal PKI, key management, and SSH workflow orchestration. We help developers and organizations securely manage over 1.5 billion secrets each month including application configuration, database credentials, certificates, and more.

We’ve raised $19M from Y Combinator, Google, and Elad Gil, and our customers include Hugging Face, Lucid, and LG.

Join us on a mission to make security easier for all developers — starting with secrets management.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
