The Group Sales Account Manager will generate revenue, manage prospects through the sales cycle, maintain customer records, and collaborate with vendors while meeting sales targets.

Backcountry Group Sales is a growing program that helps connect our brands to the business community. We assist groups in a variety of industries (corporate, medical, universities, military, etc.). The Group Sales Account Manager (Gearhead III) role is a pivotal position to help us scale our B2B offering! This role is challenging – above and beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll have a big role within a fast-paced team. This position will report into the Manager, Group Sales.
What you get to do every day:
- Generate revenue via email, phone calls, or in-person meetings
- Drive a potential prospect’s progression through each stage of the sales cycle, from lead development to close, by overcoming objections throughout the sales process
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals/expectations
- Participate in ongoing procedural and sales training sessions
- Work directly with Backcountry Vendors regarding inventory needs
- Accurately and diligently maintain track of all customers and prospects through CRM
- Exhibit behaviors consistent with Backcountry values
