Position Summary
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling and brand-consistent designs across digital and print media. This position works closely with marketing, communications, sales, and other departments to develop creative materials that effectively communicate the company's products, services, brand identity, and messaging.
The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of visual quality.
Key Responsibilities
Develop creative concepts and visual designs for digital and print materials.
Create graphics for websites, social media, email campaigns, advertisements, presentations, brochures, flyers, posters, and other marketing materials.
Maintain and strengthen the company's visual brand identity across all communications.
Collaborate with marketing and other teams to understand project objectives, audiences, and requirements.
Translate concepts, ideas, and written content into effective visual designs.
Create layouts, illustrations, icons, infographics, charts, and other visual assets.
Prepare files for digital publication and professional printing.
Edit and retouch photographs and other visual content when required.
Resize and adapt designs for different platforms, formats, and devices.
Review designs for accuracy, consistency, alignment, typography, color, and overall quality.
Incorporate feedback from managers, clients, and stakeholders into final designs.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and priorities.
Maintain organized design files, templates, brand assets, and project documentation.
Ensure all designs follow company brand guidelines.
Research current design trends and identify opportunities to improve visual communication.
Work with printers, vendors, photographers, developers, and other external partners when necessary.
Assist with website, email, social media, advertising, and other digital content.
Stay current with design software, tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
Perform other creative and design-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Previous professional graphic design experience or equivalent portfolio experience.
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, layout, and visual hierarchy.
Proficiency with graphic design and creative software.
Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to accept feedback and revise designs effectively.
Strong understanding of branding and visual consistency.
Professional portfolio demonstrating relevant design work.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of professional graphic design experience.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Experience creating content for social media and digital marketing campaigns.
Experience with web design or basic UI/UX principles.
Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or animation.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
Experience with photography or photo editing.
Experience working with marketing teams or advertising agencies.
