Position Summary 

Velotic is seeking a Global Public Relations Manager to lead the development and execution of our external communications strategy. This role is responsible for building awareness, credibility, and market distinction for the Velotic brand through strategic media relations, thought leadership, speaking programs, corporate storytelling, and global communications initiatives. 

As a key member of the Corporate Marketing team, this individual will partner closely with executive leadership, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and business leaders to elevate Velotic's presence across global markets. The ideal candidate is a proactive storyteller, experienced media relations professional, and trusted communications advisor who can translate complex industrial software and digital transformation topics into compelling narratives that resonate with customers, media, analysts, partners, and investors. 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities 

Corporate Narrative, Content & Brand Visibility 

  • Develop and execute global public relations strategies that increase awareness, credibility, and differentiation of the Velotic brand.  
  • Shape corporate and product narratives that position Velotic as a leader in industrial software, industrial AI, digital transformation, and operational technology.  
  • Lead development of external communications content, including press releases, product announcements, customer stories, thought leadership, and corporate news.  
  • Partner across marketing, product, legal, and business teams to ensure consistency and alignment of external messaging.  

Media Relations 

  • Build and manage relationships with key business, technology, industrial, and trade media.  
  • Drive proactive media engagement programs that generate visibility for Velotic, its products, customers, and subject matter experts.  
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and media opportunities to inform communications strategies.  

Speakers Bureau & Thought Leadership 

  • Build and manage a global speakers bureau that elevates Velotic executives and subject matter experts.  
  • Secure and support speaking opportunities at industry conferences, analyst events, partner programs, and customer events.  
  • Develop speaker content and thought leadership programs that strengthen market visibility and credibility.  

Agency Management, Measurement & Reporting 

  • Manage PR agencies and communications partners to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and priorities.  
  • Establish KPIs, track program performance, and deliver actionable insights on media coverage, share of voice, speaking engagements, and brand visibility.  
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize communications programs, investments, and outcomes.  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.  
  • 8-10+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations.  
  • Experience supporting B2B technology, enterprise software, industrial technology, or SaaS organizations.  
  • Demonstrated success securing media coverage, thought leadership placements, and speaking opportunities.  
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.  
  • Experience managing agencies and external partners.
