We are looking for an experienced Global Privacy Manager to work with our business partners located across the world. Do you have the appetite to manage a global privacy program, bring new biotechnology solutions to the market or advise teams on AI applications? Then we would love to hear from you.  

This position reports to the Global Privacy Manager and is part of the global Compliance Team and will be an on-site role located in one of our offices located in Kraków, Poland or Uppsala, Sweden

What you’ll do

  • Work with Global Data Privacy Leader on implementing the data privacy program for the Biotechnology Group, including:
  • Drive privacy assessments of new solutions and vendors. Continuously improve these data privacy processes to ensure accuracy and user-friendliness, awareness across the organization, audit and monitoring of their implementation. Prepare quarterly remediation plans.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource by fielding and addressing inquiries from associates. In particular, partner with sales & marketing functions.
  • Provide oversight, support, and guidance to the Company to enable compliance with applicable data privacy laws globally. Assess the risk profile with respect to compliance with data privacy laws and policies and develop appropriate measures to address and mitigate.
  • Work cross-functionally to investigate and resolve individual privacy compliance issues, incidents, inquiries, customer complaints, misuse of data and data breaches by assessing causes, and developing corrective actions.

Who you are

  • Law graduate (Master of Laws) from a leading University. Post-grad education, JD, professional accreditation or privacy certifications are a plus.
  • At least 3 years of documented experience in multinational privacy, techlaw and/or life sciences/healthcare legal position. Previous experience in privacy working for a multinational healthcare/pharma company is a plus.
  • Subject matter expertise on privacy laws and regulations, with a particular emphasis on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • Fluent English is a must (C1-C2)
  • Good grasp of Word/Excel/PowerPoint; ability to quickly learn how to get around new IT tools
