The Global Mobility & Immigration (GM&I) team at Wayfair partners with internal and external stakeholders to create a best in class mobility experience for our international population.

As a Senior Associate you will collaborate with business leaders, talent, and your team to ensure both our employees and business needs are met. Additionally, you will work closely with our immigration and relocation vendors to ensure you are up to date on your caseload and able to provide relevant updates as needed. To guarantee our GM&I processes are integrated and supported in the Wayfair service environment, you will also work in close partnership with numerous Talent teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as primary point of contact for domestic and international transfers and assignments within North America, Europe and Asia.
  • Handle all aspects of the transfer/assignment, including coordinating third party services to be delivered through the lifecycle of the transfer/assignment, responding to inquiries, maintaining compliance, and coordinating efforts for pertinent stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment and partnership with Corporate Tax, Payroll, Benefits, and other internal stakeholders on complex mobility matters.
  • Attend weekly operating calls with our immigration and relocation vendors to ensure we are up to date with all matters.
  • Develop solutions to address talent and business mobility needs; provide timely, cost effective solutions, while maintaining consistency, adhering to policy guidelines and striking the right balance between business and employee needs. 
  • Work closely with vendors and other suppliers to ensure appropriate service levels are met in support of relocation goals.  
  • Proactively manage vendor performance to improve the employee experience.

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting global mobility programs, including international transfers and assignments.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Must be able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A customer service mentality to support an international population across multiple communication channels.
  • Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to use independent judgment, problem-solve, be creative and committed to results.
  • Able to maximize time in order to effectively manage a heavy caseload.

This is a remote contract position scheduled for 6 months with the opportunity to extend up to 9 months. You must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future.
