Job Description

This role provides HR business partnership for the GEV Corporate Finance function and leads implementation and enablement for adoption of our global GEV Client Support model. Responsibilities include HR leadership, organizational design, change management, and driving the adoption of new HR practices. The role drives adoption of new HR ways of working, enables effective decision-making, and maintains stakeholder engagement. The Lead serves as the single point of contact and voice for the Client HR team, ensuring consistent messaging, risk identification/mitigation, and stakeholder buy-in throughout the transition period.

Essential Responsibilities

HR Business Partner Finance:

  • Provide HR leadership globally for client area.  Provide effective HR partnership to global employees while establishing strong working relationships with leaders and support the strategic direction of the function in both day-to-day operation and strategic planning

  • Envision, socialize, and deploy organizational design and effectiveness solutions.  Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with Corporate HR leader to develop solutions, programs and practices including but not limited to engagement, talent development, succession planning and retention

  • Promote a culture and environment that embodies the GE Vernova Way across the organization

  • Coach and counsel leaders through organizational changes, challenges, and opportunities

  • Partner horizontally across the global HR team to implement HR people agenda and drive consistent HR practices

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners & HR People Partners to identify special projects and initiatives to support development of the team

HR Transformation Client Support:

  • Act as the primary Client HR advisor and point of contact for HR4HR and HR Segment Leaders during go-live execution and stabilization, establish appropriate operating rhythms to enable flow of information.

  • Facilitate rapid, well-informed decisions and secure stakeholder buy-in through clear communication and effective influence.

  • Monitors the transition to the new Client HR model, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined, understood, and operating effectively (e.g. Country Hat, HRBP, HRPP, LR, etc).

  • Act as a bridge across the triple-matrix of Busines Segments, regions/countries, and COEs to identify where lack of process, breaks in process, or lack of awareness of process leads to risks through regular connectivity mechanisms.

  • Establish and sustain Lean daily management to surface issues early and drive timely problem solving.

  • Partner with HR workstreams to prioritize and implement solutions and ongoing initiatives (e.g., production hiring).

  • Identify, codify, and scale best practices to continuously improve new ways of working, HR processes, and systems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

  • Significant experience in human resources positions, in particular, client-based

  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, deliver difficult messaging, evaluate people, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced and transformative environment and effectively and confidently interface at all organizational levels

 

Desired Characteristics:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent knowledge or experience in Business Administration or Human Resources

  • Strong problem-solving and critical skills aimed at achieving win-win

  • Competency in influencing and leading within complex, matrix, goal-driven organizations; working across all levels of the organization.

  • Experience managing complex, multi-level workstreams/transformation/organizational changes.

  • An impact player and ‘voice around the table’ with proven ability to drive change in an effective and participative manner

  • Experience in organizational design work and talent development efforts or emphasis on HR leadership/people strategies, coaching, employee solutions

  • An inclusive style and superior interpersonal skills at all levels.  Experience working with senior leadership teams in a business and human resources

  • Creative problem solver with strong analytical skills

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills across all levels

  • Proven success in working in highly dynamic and matrixed organizations
