Job Title: Global Head of Consumer Dermatological Skincare (Global Consumer Skincare Marketing Head) 
Location: Zug, Switzerland

We are seeking an experienced, consumercentric global marketing leader to head our Dermatological Skincare portfolio, including Cetaphil, one of the world’s leading dermatologistrecommended skincare brands. 

This role is first and foremost a global consumer skincare leadership position, responsible for setting brand vision, driving innovation, shaping compelling consumer propositions and accelerating growth across channels and markets. You will lead the evolution of sciencebacked skincare into desirable, relevant, and differentiated consumer brands, bridging dermatological credibility with outstanding consumer marketing execution. 

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of modern dermatological skincare, where trust, performance, and consumer experience meet. 

Key Responsibilities 

Global Brand & Growth Leadership 

  • Define and execute the global consumer skincare strategy, aligned with Galderma’s growth ambitions 

  • Build clear brand positioning, communication platforms, and consumer propositions that resonate across regions 

  • Identify and unlock growth opportunities across categories, routines, channels (DTC, retail, dermrecommendation), and geographies 

  • Lead longterm portfolio strategy, including brand architecture, innovation priorities, and lifecycle management 

ConsumerLed Innovation & Portfolio Development 

  • Own the endtoend innovation agenda, from insights and concept development through launch and scale 

  • Champion consumer understanding, leveraging trends, unmet needs, and routines to drive relevance and desirability 

  • Partner with R&D teams to translate dermatological science into consumerfriendly, marketwinning products 

  • Ensure innovation delivers clear differentiation, strong claims, and meaningful brand value, not just scientific excellence 

Global GotoMarket Excellence 

  • Partner with regional and local marketing teams to ensure bestinclass launches, campaigns, and activation 

  • Drive consistency of brand story, messaging, and visual identity, while enabling local relevance 

  • Optimize pricing, portfolio mix, and channel strategy to maximize consumer reach and commercial impact 

  • Use data, insights, and performance tracking to continually refine strategy and execution 

CrossFunctional & Team Leadership 

  • Lead and inspire highperforming global teams across brand, innovation, and portfolio management 

  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Medical, Regulatory, Digital, eCommerce, and Supply Chain, ensuring speed, clarity, and consumer focus 

  • Act as a strong interface between global HQ and regional organizations, balancing global direction with local empowerment 

  • Foster a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and consumerfirst culture 

External Engagement & Brand Credibility 

  • Strengthen relationships with dermatologists, experts, and parters to reinforce trust and advocacy 

  • Represent Galderma skincare brands externally at key industry, innovation, and brand forums 

  • Support strategic partnerships that enhance innovation, credibility, and brand momentum 

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Extensive global experience (12+ years) in consumer skincare, beauty, cosmetics or personal care marketing, ideally in premium or sciencebacked categories 

  • Proven track record leading global brands, innovation pipelines, and growth strategies in a consumer context 

  • Strong commercial and brand acumen with experience across DTC, retail, and omnichannel environments 

  • Ability to work effectively at the intersection of consumer marketing and dermatological science (deep medical background not required) 

  • Experience leading diverse, international teams in a matrixed global organization
