Global Footwear Sourcing Lead - Converse Inc - Boston, MA. Oversee the development of long range sourcing allocation and capacity strategy that optimizes Nike Factory needs. Monitor the source profile review process to align product mix and demand for active seasons to the allocation and capacity targets set for suppliers, including new creation development, allocation, tech pack transfers and tooling investment. Manage dual/multisource process where key styles are produced at multiple suppliers at franchise model and colorway level. Collaborate with Nike counterparts on long-range strategy for shared suppliers. Direct and implement new sourcing KPI’s in alignment with Global Sourcing & Manufacturing KPI strategy. Lead the identification and critical strategical sourcing priorities. Plan and execute against Converse’s diversification goals for tier 1 network. 10% International travel required. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, IN, LA, MT, ND, SD, VT, and WY. 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Logistics, Finance and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a business- related occupation. Experience must include: 

  • Capacity Planning 

  • Factory Negotiation 

  • Strategic planning 

  • Data Analysis 

  • Factory exposure such as Commercialization process 

  • Factory floor systems and 

  • QC process 

 

OR 

Must have No Degree and 7 years of experience in the job offered or a business-related occupation. Experience must include: 

  • Capacity Planning 

  • Factory Negotiation 

  • Strategic planning 

  • Data Analysis 

  • Factory exposure such as Commercialization process 

  • Factory floor systems and 

  • QC process
