Position Overview:

The Global Business Services Associate will work directly with the SVP, Director of Global Business Services, to support the day-to-day coordination and execution of key business and marketing operations across the team. This role will partner closely with the SVP on initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency, enhancing processes, and leveraging technology to help scale and optimize the Global Business Services function. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to teams and functions across the firm while helping guide key projects that support a global business and executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include planning, coordination, reporting, documentation, and data analysis across multiple workstreams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex workflows, driving execution across multiple priorities, and using data and technology to improve how a global business operates and scales.

Acadian supports a hybrid work environment; employees are on-site in the Boston office 3 days a week.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner closely with the SVP to support and manage priorities, meeting cadence, and key business initiatives
  • Track deliverables, action items, and ongoing projects across the Global Business Services team
  • Perform data analysis, validation, and reporting to support business insights and decision-making
  • Maintain and organize project plans, documentation, workflows, and reference materials across multiple workstreams and tools
  • Help coordinate cross-functional initiatives and proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely execution and alignment
  • Support vendor and subscription management, including contract tracking, renewals, and related coordination
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance operational efficiency, and leverage technology solutions
  • Prepare presentations, dashboards, summaries, and other materials to support communication and reporting needs
  • Provide flexible project and operational support across onboarding, marketing operations, client reporting, and other Global Business Services initiatives

We’re Looking for Teammates With:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial services, business operations, marketing operations, or a related role; Interest in business operations, project planning, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Excel; experience with Tableau, AI tools, or other reporting/automation tools is a plus
  • Prior experience supporting projects, with the ability to manage timelines, coordinate across teams, and ensure timely execution of key deliverables; Demonstrated ability to bring structure and organization to ambiguous or evolving priorities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in managing data, documentation, and workflows
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams; Experience supporting senior leaders and working in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and the ability to escalate issues appropriately
  • A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented mindset, with curiosity and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

The base salary range for this role is $80,000 – $90,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and relevant experience. In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation and includes participation in Acadian’s comprehensive benefits program, which includes health, retirement, and wellness offerings.
